Huge, huge result. To win after a European away match against and in form and very organised and physical West Ham. Rode our luck a little and weren’t particularly creative but we won. 3 points are all that matter today.

other than that, we restricted you to little. We played as well as we possibly could, everyone put in a shift and we could have nicked a point at the death.

Thanks. City played poorly as we all expected but WHU were too conservative to take advantage. You did the same thing against Liverpool.

They made us worked harder for the 3 points. Possibly the most organised team we have faced this season.

Intercept more passes in today’s game alone compared to games since end of December. That West Ham team looks more like the Everton Jagielka Moyes squad.

Good game to watch. Aguero was not influential but thats beside the point as he’s got 60 minutes that he needed. That is already a road back to form.

Ruben, what a transfer we had for him. Stones is coming well. Solid in defense, and good at carrying the ball up.

Zinchenko other than the ball taken from him, played some quality passes.

3 pts. 20 wins in a row. Players rested. And exposure for Pep in case some other team does this 5-3-2 fast CF strategy, because not many team has done this well enough to make it open.

Good game for the neutral too, no diving. Just two teams wanting to go for the win by playing proper football.

Completely disagree. It was a very tight game but City would have been poor no matter who we played today. We had a midweek European game in our legs and made a lot of changes. Had we played a more anbitious side we'd have been in trouble.

I am very grateful for the 3 points. That was all that mattered. We are fortunate we played a Moyes side today which was ready to settle for a point or we could have been in trouble.

West Ham defended really well and xounter attacked intelligently. They are the best team we have played in the Premier League this season - maybe if they had risked a bit they could have done better.
