West Ham (H) Post Match Thread

Absolutely huge 3 points

if we’d have dropped points today it would have given the rags and Leicester the incentive to go and get 3 points this weekend and then a win v us would have made things a bit nervy

pep gambled a little.. which he had to.. and it just about paid off

Get in there.

Not the prettiest or the most fluent football we have ever seen but yet again we have picked up maximum points.

West ham have been in good form coming into today, so was always going to be a tricky game.

Really pleased with the way we dug deep to get the result.

Let's keep it going against Wolves on Tuesday

Well played Blues.

You can just score out of nothing at times, thought Mahrez was a constant threat and our young lad couldn’t handle him.

other than that, we restricted you to little. We played as well as we possibly could, everyone put in a shift and we could have nicked a point at the death.

Not disappointed with that performance at all.

Pep made the necessary changes to keep the squad fresh and get players involved who need the minutes after injury such as KDB and Aguero, and players like Torres who have had limited game time lately.

We will need every player for what is final third of the season

On top of that we played Wednesday and who would of guessed got the early Saturday game, again easy to drop points and/or make excuses, but Pep is absolutely thriving on the games and being in all competitions as is the team, so no negativity from me, loving every minute and enjoying every moment in what I think could be a very special season.

HAVE IT...

Looked like a team who'd played away in the CL on Wednesday against a team that hadn't. This was always a game that looked easier in theory than it would be in practice. Big teams win these kind of games and, once again, we showed our determination to win in the absence of having our A+ game. 20 on the bounce .... time for a beer!
