Backing band didn't help him today.I don’t see him as a singer. Would be better upfront in my opinion

I defended him but think we need more effective wide player. More mobile + agile one. If good offers comes in, id consider it.
Sorry, but hes miles behind Sane in athleticism, agility and skill level, at the same age. Those are not going to magically improve by huge amounts.Jesus, he’s 20 ffs. He’s clearly not in form, lacks condifence, never had a good run of games and had to settle down during a pandemic. Give him time
I’m 99% sure that in 2 years Torres will be the better player. Sane took very long time to settle, and was absolute dogshit for at least 40% of his games even after a couple seasons. Most inconsistent player in the Pep era by a mile.Sorry, but hes miles behind Sane in athleticism, agility and skill level, at the same age. Those are not going to magically improve by huge amounts.
We have definite downgrade here pretty much. I might sound very harsh but I think we just took the cheap option to replace Sane for some reason.
I think it’s a little unfair. Practically any purchase was likely to be a downgrade on Sane. Despite what many like to believe on here, Sane was/is a genuine world-class talent. It would need a minor miracle for Torres to end up a better player than him. It doesn’t mean that with time and patience, Torres can’t become an effective player for us.Sorry, but hes miles behind Sane in athleticism, agility and skill level, at the same age. Those are not going to magically improve by huge amounts.

Torres’ movement and finishing is top class. He need a little more time to settle and get in form. Cancelo, Bernardo and Rodri looked WAY better in their second season
He may well be but Sane never got any better, and well into his mid 20s probably won't. Torres is firstly far better than he showed today and will improve to become better than Sane.Sorry, but hes miles behind Sane in athleticism, agility and skill level, at the same age. Yes, no matter how many times we get given the lesson of players ,especially young ones, taking a good year to fit in and prove their worth. Some people seem incapable of learning the lesson and showing the patience required. Luckily they don't work for the club.He is 20 and even more experienced players like Rodri, Cancelo, Bernardo took a year before we saw the best of them as players. As you say the end of next season will be a better barometer to judge him as a player.
Personally I think he has something about him and will do well here.
Foden is Sané’s replacement. He looks a miles better left forward than he does attacking mid.Sorry, but hes miles behind Sane in athleticism, agility and skill level, at the same age. Those are not going to magically improve by huge amounts.

You might end up being correct, but there is currently absolutely no evidence to suggest he will be half as good as Sane, never mind better than him.He may well be but Sane never got any better, and well into his mid 20s probably won't. Torres is firstly far better than he showed today and will improve to become better than Sane.
