Ferran is a top signing more comparable to Sergio than as a Sane replacement. He has the attrubutes of build, speed and skill to play wide or central. He puts strength as one of his main assets but also reads the game well with an eye for goal that is rare.

Leroy was at his best with David Silva interplay putting him through. He will flourish at Bayern with more space and their league dominance.

At only 20 years old, Ferran works harder, poses a greater attacking threat, is more adaptable and with a higher potential than Sane. He can become a world class superstar.

How much did we pay for Mahrez? Why?

Sterling - Jesus - Torres should be our front 3, all 3 capable of playing across the line, can drop in to pick the ball and run with it, can go long and stretch teams and can all score goals.

More importantly all goalscorers who can play wide either side or through the middle. Interesting options for Pep.

It does make you think, as to how many players there will be that never get seen in the flesh by their own fans in the entirety of their spell at the club.

He's a similar height and build to sane? Both very direct wingers good at finishing. Sane is faster but Torres is more two footed. Its not a bad comparison.

Sane is an electric wide man on his day, however, temperament suspect and he certainly isn’t able to play centrally in a system like ours, this kid though, early days but what a pick from the recruiters, he could be sensational in a year or so...

The one thing that I will add about Sane, he may well have lost a bit of speed after the ACL, and so long out of the game, especially as he recently picked up another injury. Torres may well be a better option for us, comes at a third of the cost that we got for Sane, so may have him covered in all departments soon.

The reality is Sane can be anything he wants but lacks the fundamental traits of a top class star, desire... he may find it but that real, chips are down attitude, seems to allude him...

Definitely agree with that, and the move to a league where competition is minimal for the title, will help him with this. You just cannot switch off in the EPL, or you will lose heavily, even if you are the unbeatable candlepool.
