We’re more like the drummer from Genesis. Everyone accepts us whilst we’re at the back, keeping time. As soon as we’re at the front and the star of the show, then the hate descends. We’re the Phil ‘fuck*ng’ Collins (RIP) of football ;-)

Sky just did a new one. They just flashed up a table of teams where they added the goals they have scored with the goals that they have also let in and used this to say which teams are the most entertaining. Apparently Leeds are top because even though they have scored less goals than us they have also let in shit loads. City weren't in this table due to us having a decent defence. I guess City are just not that entertaining according to Sky!

You just know those are the conversations going on at board level, linked to profits. They hate us and we know it. It makes beating their system so much sweeter
 
I like it when you hear a trailer for the upcoming games on BBC 5 Live, they always have a shouty commentary of a couple of goals going in. Regardless of who’s playing it ALWAYS contains a United goal!
 
That article / blog mentioned that a piece he had written was used to remove Scholes from our games can someone elaborate don’t really remember his punditry and don’t know why he was removed didn’t notice he was

The little ginger **** sat there before we played PSG going on about how much he wanted them to beat us. We were the last standing PL club in the CL. It wasn't just City that lost the head.

They managed to fit the rags into 2nd place I think, on account of how many goals they have let in. They are desperate to keep them relevant so make up new tables & stats.

To be fair they have been entertaining this season. Watching them lose & draw games they were expecting to win has been hugely entertaining to me!
