Am I the only one who thought VAR got it right, and I hate the bloody way it is used.

I may have been right from the freeze frame it showed you (although looked like they went from Werner’s wrist and not his shoulder), but there will have been other freeze frames with the ball still in contact with the man who played the pass which would show a completely different situation and therefore decision.

So it's not the technology, it's the shite refs and the shite rules.

Use VAR for offisides, yes, because some do need a double check. Linesmen only see it once, from once angle, at one speed. But these freeze frames are a huge issue! So much so, the law should be that if they cannot noticeably see that someone if offside without lines, then he’s onside!
