If the Trade Unions called a General Strike in Solidarity with the Unions representing the Nurses over their derisory offer would you

A/ Strike yourself

B/ Support the Strike

C/ Oppose the Strike

D/ Not give two fucks, its Friday and I am on the piss.

The French General Strike of 1968 almost brought down the Government but did result in huge social change.

A/B

I just hope my union elects Steve Hedley as the new GS because he won't shy away from giving the TUC a kick up the arse to get one going.

Shouldnt they wait for the body that sets their pay rise to set their pay rise first?

I hope they get what they want, but I dont think too many of us will.

The nurses don’t need people in other industries to strike to support them, the only general strike I would support would be one that involves benefits to a whole host of workers through better working conditions and renumeration. Solidarity should work both ways.

A + B but only after we have all been vaccinated

Two other business who are facing fire and rehire tactics, British Gas and First Bus should be supported as well

As should anybody whose bosses are using the Covid crisis to alter terms and conditions.

Probably D, but I can barely understand anything cos I'm hungover, so it might be a B.
Seems to me, people doing nursing and aid based jobs should be paid more probably, and get a cake sent to them every week

A+B
...but then as many on here would point out, I would do anything to avoid work
