Ironically though the pisscan didn't play that style in his later years. The way they have been playing of late against the top teams would have been reserved for euro away legs or when he started bottling it against Mancini.

Can anyone see them passing it around the box and whipping in cute crosses or playing two forwards down the middle from the start at any point under Ole?

Closest they have to a technical winger is Diallo the teenager they picked up from Atalanta, but even then it seems like they signed him primarily because of pace. And of course he is yet to get the games.

The players they have like James and Rashford are typical counter attacking players. I'm puzzled why they are persisting with Martial at CF and Rashford out wide, the former was much better when he used to dribble out on the wing and Rashford has all the attributes to be top class striker if he is trusted and given the chance to build up experience in that position and given a supporting partner on occasions.

I'd be astonished if he doesn't start Cavani in place of any of the others - head and shoulders above the rest...........

Says it all really. Until they get the right manager, players will come and go and do better elsewhere because the coaching is abysmal.
Rashford will probably have to leave to fulfil his potential.

Perhaps Rashford needs to go on loan, maybe to an up and coming Championship club, like Norwich.

after all, it’s what was chuntered for years about Foden , who knows what heights rashford could achieve
 
Lol, they couldn't even win the popularity contest on the BBC Sport page, although somehow they managed to get 3 of the 11 spots.

How long before Lingard unwittingly walks into admitting that Moyes's coaching and style of play has been behind his good form, i.e. Moyes>Ole.

I once had a Piccaso and a Stadivarius. However they were worth nowt. Strad wasn't a very good painter and Piccaso was shit at making violins

Michael to manager knew every face and when it was banging he'd only let the regulars in :) He passed away a few years back but is fondly remember by me and my mates

Blurred memory too, as I thought it was Tuesdays? My ex from back then was actually a nurse, but met her in The Phoenix, lol.
