Our plastic friends over at the Swamp need to ask the question, why does our team play with passion and commitment against City and yet for the rest of the season couldnt give a f*ck ?
Simple fact is we are their cup final , if they take six points off us every season they are the kings of Manchester but dont have a pot /cup to piss in , hate losing to these f*ckers but if the consolation is two or three cups/titles a season in our trophy cabinet i can just about begrudgingly live with that.

I said pre match I was relaxed about today because there's nothing riding on it and with no fans and not going to the games Im as far removed from the emotion as ever so I genuinely didn't really care about today any more than I do about beating Southampton.

Of course I want to beat them every time, I want our under 8's to beat them but there was just no consequence to losing today which makes it hilarious to see my social media filled with part time united fans who remarkably haven't been that bothered about football of late act like they've just won the league.

I remember when all we had to play for was beating them only to be told it didn't matter and meant nothing to them as they contended for titles, but even then at least we could go to games, socialise and have actual bragging rights, you don't even get that now, it's an over the top social media post nd that's it.

At the end of the season when we are celebrating the 3rd title in 4 years and hopefully a few extra cups too they can at least take solace from their "we beat City despite letting them run away with it" medals.
