Southampton is the next game ,and that is all that matters, 3 points is a must, united can still get 84 points, so we need 85 not a point less or more.

we have just galvanised them for the rest of the season.
Southampton is pivotal now.....straight back to winning ways is a must ....anything less than 3 ts and utd could be within 8-9 points of us and then that gives them something to chase that isnt insummountable.
One game at a time as Pep says but anyone who thinks this title race is over needs to give their heads a wobble....we have closed down similar points gaps before......utd will see that as a challenge and something they can do

The league cup wasn’t our priority in 2016We lost to them in the EFL Cup in 2016

we were well off the pace in the league in 2019
the draw in 2020 was the only one but we were well off the pace and no one saw the 21 game run coming
in 2018 was similar to when we beat them 2-1 at old Trafford in 2013, meant fuck all
it Seems to mean more to them now , like it did when we were shite

Can see the rags going on a run now. We had them by the throat but did not squeeze.

This is the right attitude and I think we will. My guess is we will end up on 87 points, possibly less if utd fail to keep up any pressure and drop points in the coming weeks as we will in turn take our foot of the gas.

Are you serious? We have not overturned an 11 point gap? And even our 2012 title race massively hinged on the head to head. It is incredibly hard to overturn a +10 point lead when you have no say in it. It’s a hell of a lot of points to throw away in the last quarter of a season.. let alone the chasing team has to win every single game.
in fact has it ever been done at this stage? I remember Newcastle fucking up massively but can’t remember the standings with three quarters of the season played.
Plus.. Pep is not Keegan and Ole is not Whisky nose.
