The Chelsea and West Ham (2-0 up so far) results tonight have virtually killed off LFC for the top four. A ray of sunshine in a dark weekend.
Nah, his stupidest tweet is the one that follows.
Apparently it's not just injuries that make up the excuses now, but the fact that half the team is out of form. And this is apparently an argument as to why they're the best.
The difference is we wear that like a badge of pride. We can laugh off our history and embrace the good and bad, the red alliance would bury that kind of history and don't like to be reminded of anything that's not glossy. The Champions from 1936/37 say Hi.
Wednesday too. Poor bastards.Vice-versa mate. Blue teams are the best
I have heard lots of talk about side effects and it is certainly affecting me. I don't want to go to work tomorrow!!!After all this is over and the Etihad is returned to its normal use as a football stadium the amount of deep cleaning and sterilisation required will be a major undertaking. All because they let a liverpool fan in there
Oh dear. The Chelsea and West Ham (2-0 up so far) results tonight have virtually killed off LFC for the top four. A ray of sunshine in a dark weekend.
I want us to play them in the final, hammer them and silence them.I bet they're crapping themselves about losing on Wednesday, and going out of the Champs League.
Apart from relegation, I would actually want them to qualify for the Europa, I would prefer them not to be having midweek off, although I think they will be a hard fix in their current state.
The manager will be first out of the door, German national manager by the end of the SummerTop 4 looks far away now.
Wonder which of their big players will be going ?
If he does go he will leave a mess behind him. A large number of players nearing, or already 30 years old. Possibly, no European football to generate income or to attract new players. A financial hole that their owners do not appear keen to fill. The manager will be first out of the door, German national manager by the end of the Summer
And get Slippy G back in to push them back to the abyss. If he does go he will leave a mess behind him. A large number of players nearing, or already 30 years old. Happy days!!
But that's exactly why he'll leave. Like Alex Ferguson in his last few seasons at the rags just squeezing every last drop from the same group of aging players and signing players in their late 20s for short-term personal glory rather than a long-term rebuild. It'll be telling what Klopp's next signings are. If they're in their late 20s, then I wouldn't expect him to be around for that long. Their current crop of players probably have a few years left (but maybe not at the same intensity) but they will have to replace almost the entire squad in the next few years. If he does go he will leave a mess behind him. Just burn the place down and build another. We have unlimited funds, you know. So, what will we have to do after the next home game against Littlewoods, when the mourners have been?
I dread to think.
I notice it’s mostly the prawn sandwich-munching Main Standers late to their seats. The grounds stuffed... the cars are still arriving, the turnstiles are queued solid and there’s loads still walking from afar.
amazing
And turned into a cockney pub team by signing the likes of Ruddock and Dicks. Mind you both would probably get into their current team even if they are both in their 50's.It’s like when King Kenny left & they called for Souness from Rangers.
