Remember the time he was booed and there was a subsequent interview with him in (I think) the MEN, saying he wouldn't let them drive him out of the club. He lived near my mum for a time in Mobberley after he finished playing and helped her choose an excellent bottle of red for my Xmas present one year. The man was a legend.
Yeah he did an interview on Piccadilly Radio as well

I saw that garbage when it was posted last night and my immediate thought was it was drafted by some bitter rag employed at Media City. "Alex from Yatton" my arse.
As others have said previously, they will get hundreds of embittered rants from fans of rival clubs every matchday. Nearly all will be ignored but someone at the rag infested BBC Sport Media City chose to give that one the light of day

whoever was doing the match text commentary even announced that post was coming up something along the lines of "up next a post from Alex from yatton , manchester fans wont be pleased" as you say some bitter rag from media city

Two quotes from Orwell's 1984 which seem appropriate:

"And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed — if all records told the same tale — then the lie passed into history and became truth."

“The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
Pretty much what Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf during the 1920's
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

The BBC often publishes trolling comments about City on their live match feed. It has been a common theme.

Lol, what a simpering spoiled fuckwit, I strongly suspect that this has been written by a low ranked beeb employee in their footy dept crying because we have the ability and mentality to handle a defeat and bounce straight back, (something Pep feels is so important).

If it is a genuine footy fan, then shamefully they have no idea about soul, a clubs soul comes from the fans, and what clubs fans have been through more "hardships" than ours. Certainly not those clubs he mentioned. Clubs that have been actively helped and aided by the tv/media since the pl began.

The media who proactively support a few "big" clubs and print articles ridiculing their closest rivals, while totally ignoring scores of genuine clubs with genuine fans because they dont have the "commerciality", is that "soul"???

Its also funny, or just coincidence that the three clubs he mentions are the three most sucessful, why, he might have soulfully flitted from one to the other as current success(or soul) dictates. Either way, what he really wants to say is that we are not as successful.

However, that would be like saying cliff richard is more soulful than Marvin Gaye, because hes had more number ones.
Clubs with soul in the premier League City, Leeds, Burnley all have been down in the depths yet kept their fan base in tact. Doubt the red shirts would keep their crowds mid table third level. Oh and include Fulham in clubs with soul.

And Sheffield United

There are loads mate, and you dont have to like em to admit it, but the wankers at mediacity etc dont deem them "newsworthy", and 95% of the time they report on us its negative......fckin soul!!!! that tosser who made that original comment listed the three least soulful clubs in fcking europe.

City,Leeds and Burnley are all clubs with Northern Soul.
Whereas Fulham are not!!!!

Who the fu$,k cares what some twat from Yeovil says or thinks!!. Its like when rags or dippers say City winning the title means nothing, well yes to them but to all blues its utter joy same as I could not give shit what the rags or dippers win as it means nothing to me. These people are utter dickheads, just enjoy their pain as the more bile they come out with the more it is they hurt.

Yes , so true , millions of moronic glory hunters who can’t bear they may now have backed the wrong horse 15 /20 years ago all claiming a true red istree because of a made up grandad from Salford or Bootle.
City mean the world to us and that’s all that matters.

Most of the pupils at my primary school were rag fans as was the headmaster, he knew I was a City fan.
The head brought a TV into a classroom so he and other staff/pupils could watch United in an afternoon European Cup match (this is shortly after Munich). Another boy and I were excluded and sent to another room and given a sheet of arithmetic to complete.
Sounds like you got a good deal.

The BBC eulogising over Diallo this morning I see.....
Weird, would they do this over any other £37 million kid in another side. "Chris" on BBC 5 live drooling over him admitted to being obsessed with watching videos of him. Proudly stated he watches rag under 18 and deep dives other rag clips to watch him. Hmm.. somewhat letting the BBC Salford interests out. Surely only a united obsessive would do this. I doubt he's checking out videos of Cole Palmer (for example) as well.

I heard him this morning and it was like someone from 'fan tv'. I actually like him a presenter but it was ridiculous this morning.
Like you said 'surely only a united obsessive' would watch the u18s and 23s.
He regularly talks about being a Bournemouth fan, but he went he to university there so my guess he's a rag who adopted as his 'second' team.
I read years ago a lot of sports journos are 'encouraged' to say they support an underdog, like a Forest etc...
However the mask often slips!!!!!!!

Somebody described it a 'chip' with the back of the head last night which means flukey to me. I just missed the 'dream goal' as described in the BBC headlines at 0700 watching it in a horizontal side position in bed. I am sure l will get plenty of opportunity to see it countless times and give a proper opinion of the free header.
I am lucky enough to to have seen 'the best header evah' scored by a rag in the world Cup for a country whose manager was going to United. To me it was a perfectly placed cross for van Persie to run on to for the free-est of free headers. I could have scored it.
More important than rag adulation l just missed a piece about heading and its effects catching a final pic of Dave Watson. I am now trying to look it up on iplayer as there might have been a whole article about him.

Completely unmarked, looked like he lost track of the flight of the ball, turned away from goal to see where it was and it bounced off the back of his head and looped over Donnarumma. Looked like a fluke and it was shocking defending and goalkeeping from Milan in the first place.
