Havent kept up to speed on here so dont know if posted ;)

But Martin Samuels has read the rules for his piece.....no pictures of City !

But not there is a difference in the pieces. All the articles with City pics are negative - ‘clubs refusing to comply’ etc.

Samuels writes clubs should be allowed to celebrate - suddenly the City photo is replaced by a United players.

Negative = City pic
Positive = Utd pic

Isn't the use of City in any article a positive, they are too dumb to realise that they are keeping us in the consciousness of the public, showing Foden celebrating the other night and any kid watching won't give a flying about the narrative. It generates interest and much more beneficial to the club than being ignored

Dont normally watch any sky sports anymore except for when we are playing. Anyway bucked the trend this morning and caught the end of a program called the Saturday social

Seems to have one anchor and 3 guests talking about football. The 3 guests were from what I gathered a united fan, and spuds fan but not sure who the ginger haired idiot supported.

The discussion was on a section where the rag fan was putting his point across about the best premier league strikers, and he named sergio aguero

And the other guy wouldn't have it. The so called football pundit is called Joe Tomlinson - seems to be a bitter **** saying Shearer was better !

United fan put him straight tho and told this guy you weren't even born when Shearer was playing

Sky is still employing idiots it seems

I think quite a lot of neutral fans can see through some of the negative coverage City receive. I usually make a point of drinking with opposition fans when on away trips as much as possible. The feedback from matchgoing fans up and down the country is often positive about City tinged with some envy. There is very little love for United and Liverpool.
But the negative "racist oil money" jibes seem more prevalent online from people who don't attend matches. The media assumes football fans are stupid but my experience at games suggests matchgoing fans know more about football than most reporters, especially those posh boy hacks who only discovered football when it became trendy for the hipsters.

Good job Steve Barrett was doing his interview with the bus driver over a video link for the BBC, otherwise there would have been x rated scenes on football focus !
