João Félix

You can rule out City selling one of England's best players when he's entering the peak years of his career.

Mahrez is 30 and has had a good few weeks. Sterling is 26 and has been CIty's top scorer over the last 3 seasons. The difference is beyond huge.

I definitely think the summer is going to be interesting and there'll be a shake up of sorts. But you can rule out Raz leaving IMO.
I think Kun is already out the door for starters so no way we sell our other top scorer. I also get the feeling that Pep really values sterling for his effort, his fitness levels and his ability to shrug off things when they go wrong.

Id happily see Mahrez go abroad somehwere...we may even get a decent wedge for him. He has played better recently but he is still inconsistent (disappeared along with others int he derby).

We havent seen much of Torres this season but I suspect that next season we will. Pep seems to do this with young players from abroad....Bernarndo, Sane were both managed in and out of the team during their first season.

The very idea of even moving Sterling on is ridiculous.

I think medium term Mahrez is the one who will go. Torres has bags of potential and is still a baby.

It's an idea which is frequently put forward on Bluemoon I've noticed. Not really something you see in the real world or a conversation I've had with any of the proper Blues that I know. But there is a definitely a likkle minority who are always selling him!

Still got a personal preference for someone like Felix. I think he under Pep would be fantastic. But I guess you can't really make a case when Haaland is available.

IMO, If Felix is bought in it will be to play 2nd striker which is how he generally earns his crust.
Thus getting Felix does not, in footballing terms, do anything to rule out also getting a main striker such as Haalan.
If we can afford it then Felix and Haaland could make a truly great strike partnership, possibly one that’s attractive enough to them to make them both want to come here?

I think this summer is shaping up to be the perfect time to sell Mahrez. In his current form he's still a very attractive purchase, especially if he delivers in a big CL game. He's only just turned 30, and there's a lot of clubs who want a big signing but might not be able to spring €100m+ for the top tier targets because of the pandemic.

For City, if Messi comes in, Mahrez is completely redundant IMO, and we either sell him for good money now, or we end up keeping him until he's 32 and leaves for nothing in 2023.

Price him at €50-60m and I think you'd get a lot of interest. The Madrid/Zidane link makes a lot of sense.

Think if Messi comes we’ll lose a big player and yes my money would be Riyad.

Suggestions of selling Sterling are always odd to me.

If he's not really good enough for us and we sell him for the absolute minimum (£50m?), who'd want him that can afford him? Because no team with that money would want him and no team that would want him would be able to afford him.

And if he is good enough for us, then why would we sell him?

What he says. ;)

I've thought Mahrez all year, leaning more to Jesus now though if we get Haaland, especially if we develop Torres as a left/ central option. Think he would need / deserve a good move for his own sake too. Keep Mahrez a couple of seasons and hopefully develop Macatee or Palmer to replace him, and Delap as Haaland understudy. Messi wou;d be the fly in that ointment though and could see Mahrez leaving too in that case.

Can’t see Jesus going he can play left or right and centre plus his age. where as Mahrez seems stuck on the right plus his age. Am more inclined now that mahrez staying.

I thought that but should we get Haaland then we have Jesus Sterling, Torres Mahrez Bernardo Foden that can all play left and right and in the case of Torres probably central too. So where does that leave Jesus, think even the player would have ambitions to establish himself as a forst choice regular some where. To be clear I do like Jesus. That's not to mention Messi.

Why does it have to leave Jesus anywhere?
