Tough to judge individual performances with so many changes and a new system. But, we're lacking creativity and control in midfield...which isn't surprising because we don't really have much of a midfield right now. Build up is suffering because of it.

pep put too many not match fit players in here, but I can see why so catch 22 for pep this I suppose.

Either diaz or stones are going to get robbed when they are overrunning ball, as used to just laying off to one of x2 midfielders but now not releasing the ball early as no-one free, as all players are ahead of them in a line. They keep
looking for a pass option then taking another then another touch, its painful to watch

Nothing to do with it, his ability to play in a Pep system effectively, is sadly over... he needs a supporting cast to do his running and it won’t happen...doesn’t mean he’s finished, he is too good a player still but styles can hinder players!
