Interesting, I think if anything we're too heavy in attack and the lack of midfield is leaving them isolated up there. No service or creativity.

Not really working this. Not sure if it's the rusty players, the formation or both. Just doesn't look like the City of the last few months. We've had a few shots but nothing that you wouldn't expect the keeper to save.

I'd prefer to see us revert back to our usual system but not easy to see how that can be done with only 3 subs. Would like to see Gundogan on to give us a bit more control.

Fully trusting pep here. We need all players fit on the run in for the league & cups & that could come at the expense of a draw or loss tonight. Think bigger picture blues. Shit I know but some players need game time & others need a rest.

Good half. With a new system, playing guys who have not had much game time, resting key players we have basically bossed it without being spectacular. Need to give Rodders some help as he is being man marked by 29. Other than that no change please

That's true, but why do it in such an unusual formation. I expect this team will get us the 3 points, if played in our usual style that has been working for the past 20 odd matches.

Throwing guys who aren't playing regularly, into a totally new formation, is a pretty tough ask for them.

Anyway, as you're all complaining about the game........ I'm doing the ceiling in the cellar which is plaster boarded. Can't be arsed plastering it, it's the cellar so don't see the point. Any ideas on a decent paint that will cover blemishes?

Print off any match day thread and paper the ceiling with it . When times are hard , pop into the cellar , lie on your back , look up at the ceiling and realise that there are many many more needy people in the world than your good self

Peps a fantastic manager but he has a flaw, he always seems to break up a winning team/formation , we’ve been a winning machine who he’s managed to make look ordinary in a few short weeks
