Not new no. However I really am to it being this bad in comparison to our results. WTF is happening to our fan base on BM? Do we really think so little of this record breaking team that we must have 5-0 every game?

There is another team out there trying to stop us.

I’d be quite happy with 1-0.
Just think we need at least one creative midfielder on the pitch because there’s not much happening at the moment and they are more than capable of scoring when Mendy or Cancelo get caught out of position.
It’s all very laboured at the moment.

Torres's shot from similar place would have been a tap in if it had been simply put across the 5 yard box.

Hope this back 3 experiment isn’t a sign of things to come in the CL by Pep. Best team in Europe for 20+ games with a back 4 and suddenly he springs a back 5. SHOCK, we are awful at it. We essentially lose 2 men in the middle to control the game because of the lost midfielder and the fullbacks aren’t stepping inside in this formation.

We have played a back 3 many times during our winning run. Not sure what game some people watch

I dislike wing backs immensely. We lack fluidity. I can see Gundogan and or KDB coming on to get us passing.

This formation should be something we can work effectively. We have the right players for it. Unfortunately, we are trying to play it with a significant number of unfit players, and it shows. Mendy looked fucked after 5 mins.

And those players need match fitness because they may be needed at the sharp end of the season.
