Watching the Southampton v Brighton game on MOTD, the commentator mentioned that Pep had referred to Gramham Potter as the best English manager out there. Then threw in the line that ' it's easy to be compliementory when you've won't. All the years I've heard ferguson, wenger and mourinho praise the opposition's play when they've beaten them and yet nobody has ever tried to dissect their comments

Tomorrows Mirror
If you divide the number of goals by the cost of scorers United beat Citeh again. Each of City's 3 lucky goals at the Cottage Cheeseihad cost an obscene 36 million pound. United on the other hand despatched with WHAM, the high flying big-spending London millionaires for the pricely sum of nothing, nada, zilch, nowt. With a goal from an on-loan Watford player being paid handsomely by the Cockney Porn Baron owners of West aaaam, the Dildo brothers.

Been reading online that Martin Tyler has been getting a bit of stick for his less than enthusiastic commentary for Lamela's rabona goal against Arsenal.

Had a watch and it's still ten levels of excitement higher than when City score. MTIAC.

After the City news conference, Simon Stone on the BBC web site with idiotic summing up.

“So, Pep Guardiola heard what Oleksandr Zinchenko said and decided to pull the defender down a peg or two.
Manchester City do their European press conferences in a different way to Manchester United.
United have the player and manager together at the podium. At City, Guardiola follows the player.
I reckon he might be having a word with the defender for talking up the Quadruple and saying he noticed 'hungry eyes' in the dressing room.”

What? Are you saying that the legend Eric Carmen is in the City dressing room?

Just caught BBC Look North West at lunch time and had to laugh as Eleanor Morris announced ''Manchester United strengthened their grip on their champions league place...''

It will come as a surprise to absolutely no one that there was no mention of the gap between the two clubs, or who is currently leading the Premier League table *checks table. Yep, it's still City*.

To be fair, she also described their result as a 'one all victory' so the bar for good reporting wasn't set particularly high today!
