Seems strange to come on bluemoon amd not see a thread about something thats all over the news, I usually find more interesting things in these threads than anything in msn.
Yes I know the last thread went to shit, and imho another thread should have been started away from what was a terrible incident.
These protests are now blocking westminster bridge and outside scotland yard, hopefully Ive not pissed anyone off starting a new thread on the subject but Im genuinely interested in other peoples opinions on this
 
If me and my mates went to our local park and started getting pissed together, we’d be fined, and if we refused to move on we’d be arrested.

Anyone who been out in large crowds for any reason during this pandemic, shame on you!

I’m fucking sick of these fuckers from the capital. Every other fucking week there’s another crowd gathered to have a fucking moan about something down there!

I wouldn't join a protest during Covid pandemic but can understand why people do,but they are putting other people at risk
The politicians & comentators wouldn't have batted an eyelid if it was strikers, football fans or others demonstrators the police waded in to on Saturday
Since the year dot the police have always been heavy handed when dealing with demonstrations so it should not have come as a surprise to anyone that out of a habit of a lifetime they couldnt help themselves on Saturday
Pity they didn't steam in when Princess Kate was there.
Even the Queen would have been pissed of if she was dragged away in handcuffs

Yep, flicked on Sky news and 2 lads wandering about lookingbpissed and laughing into the cameras, they’re certainly not there for any ‘cause’.

And there’s a very shady crew who always seem to tag along to them all in the background n’all. A very strange bunch of faceless nameless people who nobody actually knows, who turn up and start the aggro.

They’re there at every protest going. A load of Ian Brown anarchist weirdos. Orchestrated, planned, organised, know exactly what they’re doing beforehand, clear aims, dodgy as fuck... there to cause trouble and cause trouble only... there to spark a reaction from the Police to stir shit and make the Police look bad.

Look at the BLM protests last summer. A lot of people knew full well it would kick off with police. Pretending they care about a topic just to go along with a crowd sad fuckers

True and, like most strikes, most protests just fade away, a few arrest, 15 minutes of fame on facebook for the 'lucky' few, a bit O/T for plod and a hefty bill to the tax payers. On to the next.... Trans gender Vegans against animals, Menstrual lesbians against men, Stand up if You're offended etc etc.
 
I call it Princess Diana Syndrome. It seems we have a huge number of needy emotionally unstable people who feel the need to hijack any issue to demonstrate their woke credentials and identify with any group or event that lets them virtue signal.
They have largely substituted family for virtual families .
The vast majority of us have observed this latest lockdown ordeal and pretty much stuck to the laws. These self righteous snowflakes see fit to ignore that and take to the streets.
The sad part is I've hardly heard that poor murdered girls name today.

I actually went to the one in Piccadilly gardens with my girlfriend, kept to ourselves on the periphery and when I thought it might get a little out of hand we fucked off home.
