Where’s the one you seem to crave that will avoid all vaccines? Nowhere to be seen just like the mythical one I described.
Depends what you mean by avoid. Moderna already has a new variant vaccine in Phase I and II trial so there you go. They wouldn't invest money and resources unless they see it as a significant risk. And that's all I see it as...a risk which we should be aware of.

Wales vaccination update:

1, 258, 769 first doses - 29, 239 today - was 27, 729 yesterday & 29, 169 last week

338, 959 second doses - 9429 today - was 10 554 yesterday & 7372 last week

Zoe App prediction today up from 4362 to 4526

And the predicted numbers with symptomatic cases in UK fell again from 76, 214 yesterday to 74, 842 today.

one of the real, unspoken scandals of this pandemic, was practice at Stepping Hill too. Plenty of people have died who haven't even been given the chance to be saved because the staff were forcing DNR's on ill patients just because they had Covid.

Many are heroes but there's been some shady shit going on as well.

35 England hospital deaths - with 4 from the North West.

Always low on Sunday, of course. But this is the lowest in many months and down from 49 and 1 last week.

Wales data:

6 deaths - was 12 last week

196 cases - was 217 last week

1.6% positivity - was 1.7% last week

Weekly Pop score 42 - was 42 yesterday - was 42 last week.

Think you can call that flatlining.

flatliinimg while opening up and giving out more vaccine is good.

Scotland data:

0 deaths - was 2 last week

532 cases - was 484 last week

2.9% positivity - was 3.3% last week

344 patients - down 23 in day - was 461 last week

31 ventilated icu - same as yesterday - was 40 last week

good movement again.

I know this stat is a bit behind given that today's numbers have been announced, but of all the 488 infections announced yesterday in Scotland, only 15 of those were in people aged 65+.
Thank you Very helpful. Matches the N Ireland data in this regard.

Sorry I am running behind a bit today.

8 of the 35 England hospital deaths today are more than a month old. One 10 months old.

Just 3 from yesterday is the lowest previous day number (it was 9 last Sunday) since 4 October.

Six of the last eight days have had single figure previous day numbers. So this is not just a low weekend data total. Though that is a factor on Sunday and Monday always as you know.

There had not been any single figure numbers like this before 5 March for over 4 months.

crazy! the bottleneck next month wont matter so much the way we are going. Could we pass 30 million this week?
Was thinking that myself..we are most definitely in front..be interesting to see where we are April 15. A brilliant effort to everyone involved

Only the ones you’ve read about out of the however many tens of thousands there have been!
Yes. I read somewhere that the virus mutates after it has infected about 80 ppl. So there must be millions of variations which are nugatory.
