Listen if a manager come out with trophies don’t matter and is still in a job then you know they really are screwed ........... imagine Pep or Klopp saying the same thing ????? .......... it would never happen ...........seriously I will be amazed if they are anywhere near challenging for a title within the next 5 years .......
Well for what it's worth:

When the pisscan called time in 2013, I predicted that it would be at least twelve years before the rags won the premier league title again.

Eight years in and and I now realise that was a very conservative assessment. The only way that club will ever reach the summit is when the GPC shuffles off this mortal coil and the club can reset.

It's almost poetic when you think about his "not in my lifetime" comment.

They never ever learn, the arrogant celebrations at half time when they had definitely got a bye into the final were predictably ridiculed at the end by the rest of the sane football world.

A rag 'mate' posted on fb at half time that it could be an all Manchester final, it was swiftly deleted near the end of the game.

It must be another record.

I know but if the facts are that Man City have spent £80 million more since Fergie left then they should be a hell of a lot closer than what they are ...........you maybe talking 300/400 million to get anywhere near .......... I bet come the next 10 years United will have easily outspent City ...........will the media report that I doubt it ..........

Leicester have spent a lot less than Everton but there were no comparisons of cost yesterday. It's all you ever hear in our games. That tells you all you need to know.

We could be playing and beating Real Madrid while the rags were getting a hiding off Chesterfield and all you'd hear is how we should be winning with the money we've spent.

Yep it’s so very boring mate but the only stick they feel they can beat us with

A pity that nobody comes out with the numbers I bet the mass public ain’t even aware :( I bet you any money that you asked a man on the street they would put the gap well up to 500 million since Fergie left rather than the numbers they really are .............. 80 million that really is shameful they are so far behind it’s shocking ........ I was actually decked at what I was seeing yesterday this was United a team winning things for fun ........now they are the new Arsenal having to get a top 4 place and hoping the odd trophy may come along how the mighty really have fallen

Never write this shower of shit off.
Last week it was announced the rag women will play games at the Swamp. Today sky announce a 3 year deal to show WSL, hmmmm. I know who will be shown first. There are always people working to keep them in the headlines.
Corrupt bent bastards.

Yeah I thought exactly the same. It will be united vs someone small, as the season opener, followed by United vs Chelsea and Arsenal vs anyone but City ( will liverpool be gifted promotion this year...) on a ‘super Sunday’ a few weeks later.

Yes you are spot on I work in the IT business. Teamviewer is big and many uses it. But is not a monster company I just find this very very strange.
Been thinking about this and the only thing that makes sense is that they could potentially get £47m in a season but, to do that, they'd have to win the domestic treble, CL, European Super Cup, World Club Championship, the Boat Race, Grand National, Ryder Cup, headline Glastonbury and Slabhead win Strictly Come Dancing.

For a season like this one, which is far more typical and realistic, I can't see it being worth more than £25m, maybe £30m tops.

What a day. The look on the piss can's face :)

With bonus Phil Jones content! Loved that little gesture miseryguts did to clear the pitch as Don Sergio became an Immortal.....

It really makes no sense. The sponsorship vs the revenue of the sponsor. Even in covid times driving the company revenue up.

also, as I’ve mentioned before, Without covid, teamviewer would not have grown so (very relatively) big, so the sponsorship deal has come from nowhere in the past year. Which begs the question what on earth did Woody have lined up, if anything, prior to the insane decision of teamviewer To blow 10% of their earnings on united?
