Really can't see us getting Haaland or Kane. Kane I think will be to expensive for anybody with the money Spurs will be asking, and with the circus that is surrounding Haaland at the moment I can see an announcement coming saying we aren't interested. Hope I'm wrong on Haaland. I think the club must have a good idea of a replacement for Kun I just hope they can pull a rabbit from the hat like they did with Kun.

In terms of Haaland we are all witnessing a high stakes poker game.

Riaola is creating a market, driving up his agents wage and contract demands, that what Riaola is very good at.

Horrible little man but a great agent.

Personally think it's between us or Chelsea. Madrid will end up with Mbappe, Barca would love Haaland but simply can't raise the cash in time.

Interesting seeing the reports on Mbappe, 1 year left on his contract, surely Madrid if they want him / he wants them will just wait instead of dropping 120m-150m this summer, not sure how much PSG will like that though, it seems like they have offered him numerous contracts to extend.

The Haaland - Mbappe front 2 sounds a bit too good... maybe a little unfair.

Just think if Haaland didn’t have an agent that supposed 40m his agent is getting could be going to him and his dad! Are agents that important enough so they paid silly money!?

Did people really think it’d be a piece of piss to get Haaland? It’s be a nightmare anyway dealing with Dortmund but add Mino to that and it creates a circus.

Usually we wouldn’t do business like that but this isn’t a usual circumstance. We’re trying to replace our best ever striker who has been told he can leave. I hope we don’t just back down this easily but fuck me, it’s going to be a long Summer.

I think we have to do the waiting game for this transfer as well. Last summer in the Messi thread we were seeing how many new reports were coming every single day and obviously only few of them were correct. And with Raiola the game has just begun.
It will be naive to think Raiola is going to make our life easier just because Haaland wore a balotelli top during training or Alf paid for us. Haaland is the top transfer target for all and Raiola's most prized asset. He won't be going down without a fight. And I wouldn't blame him if he tries to squeeze the last bit of any team that signs Haaland in terms of agent fees. The guy is going to make a north of 20-30 million for this transfer. Thats a huge amount.

And until I see him holding a Madrid/Chelsea/Barca shirt, i believe we will be in the race.

First of all, we don’t know if the 40M figure is real. I wouldn’t be shocked it it were since that’s less than the fee from the Neymar to PSG transfer. However, if you go look at the report that makes this claim, it does not say “40M to Raiola”. It’s a general fee and part of that would be going to Alf. Every transfer has an agent fee and that fee is proportional to the size of said transfer. There was a fee to every transfer we made last summer and we paid it, a transfer that would cost considerably more than any of those, obviously. Txiki is close with Raiola — do people really think he doesn’t know that?!

Ignore the Aguero Chelsea stuff.

It's from Dominic King - zero track into City, chief apologist and planter for Liverpool.

I'm just shocked that a person claiming to have such an in with Aguero's situation didn't get anywhere near the story last week that his deal wasn't being renewed.

Same goes for Alvarez (Sergio's mate).

With what’s happened with the FFP changes it’s pretty clear that the changes have been made to enable Real Madrid and Barca to spend money they haven’t got. Mbappe has always wanted Madrid it seems and he’ll end up there. Wouldn’t surprise me if Haaland ends up at Barca or even Real Madrid after another year at Dortmund.

What about this

From what I know of Dortmund, they like the selling agent to also act for them. Did it with Mkhitaryan.

This circus tour from Mino and Alf is exactly that.

Instruction to procure and then present offers to them, despite public protestations to the otherwise they are not considering a sale.

Dortmund don't want to deal with City and will only do so when they can see what other clubs can propose as an alternative.

It's a Hail Mary to sniff out something more palatable than us. Mino wants to get paid twice.
