Nerves are definitely jangling this morning. Still looking forward to it.

Selection wise, I've got a sneaky that Bernardo and Cancelo may miss out - which would make the team: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Zin, Rodri, Gundo, KDB, Mahrez, Foden, Sterling (or Jesus).

An early City goal would certainly calm some nerves!

I'm absolutely buzzing for tonight. This is what football is all about. Massive weeks and massive games. It's the time for Champions to stand up.

Think your team is largely spot on, Stones played well at weekend but seemed knackered by the end of the game. Having Dias on his natural side should help us more in the build up.

Dortmund are a very good side but we've proven our quality this season, play anywhere near our level and I think we'll be fine.

Is this a joke?

Sané was fucking shit yesterday. He cost Bayern Munich the game with his absolutely awful decision making, trying to shoot when he had 2 or 3 people open in the box to pass to and crossing straight to Navas when people were screaming at him to pull it back. He butchered 3 or 4 massive chances by making the wrong decision every single time.

He is the reason Bayern are out, he has regressed massively and its no surprise he's been on the bench until this injury crisis.
Surely you're having a laugh.
Sane contributed very little over the 2 legs, but considering the ridiculous amount of chances both teams squandered, to suggest Sane is the reason Bayern are out is just drivel.

People see sane playing last night in a big game and assume he’s been key for them. If Gnabry wasn’t injured, Sane wouldn’t have even played. He’s been a nothing player for them. People in England have actually forgotten about him and that says it all.

I'm buzzing too. I think at some point we're going to have to conquer the quarter final mountain under Pep, why not tonight!

Get the feeling that knee injury has taken its toll, in which case we sold at the right time, as heartless as that sounds.

It could work. I agree that Laporte starting instead of Stones is quite likely. He’ll form a back 3 with the left back moving into midfield to block their passing lanes on counters when we lose the ball. I also agree that Bernardo doesn’t start. Jesus had a good impact when he came on last time. I’m torn between him and Sterling.

I'm thinking along the same lines with that line up, with Jesus in ahead of Sterling.

The two left footers in defence (Zin and Laporte) would definitely make us flow better in the build up, although Stonesy might feel hard done by nobody can play every game.

Come on Blues!

Many reasons why Bayern lost that tie and id say their awful defence was the contributing factor in the home leg. However Sane was shocking. He continually made bad choices at critical moments and that last chance he had summed up his contribution.

Who's the whistling wanker tonight? I expect Uefa would want to address the performance of the ref from last time based on the fact that City won the tie which rendered his performance sub-standard.
Some Spanish guy I think. We’ve had him 4 times and won all 4, but he did try to fuck us v Schalke with a red card for Otamendi at 2-1 to Schalke. But 2 late goals saw us turn it around.

Totally agree, but he's not the reason Bayern are out,and this sort of scapegoating doesn't reflect well on those who do it.

He single handedly stopped them from scoring 2 or 3 goals by making the wrong decision when he had easy crosses to unmarked players in the box in a game they went out on goal difference - including in the last minute when Müller was wide open waiting for almost a tap in and he passed it straight to Navas.

Yes he is the reason they are out. Its not scapegoating its watching the game and seeing him cost them goal after goal.

How has he not rolled this into the middle of the box?? It’s the kind of decision making our front line falls foul of at times.
