Borussia Dortmund (A) - CL QF | Post-Match Thread

Something just struck me when I saw how dejected Dortmund were.
They got to the last 8 but will probably
not be in champions league next season.
Arsenal could win the europa league and thus qualify for next years champions league. United were knocked out earlier than Dortmund but are still in the europa league.
There's something wrong with United winning a trophy for not even making the knockout stages of a competition and Arsenal leapfrogging the likes of Dortmund by winning an inferior competition and finishing way down in their national league.
It’s a joke that they let CL failures into the EL, when a good EL run would bring in much needed money for actual EL clubs, and winners getting into the CL could be the making of them.

But UEFA are a joke, and the G14 are corrupt, so what do we expect?!

Well to be exact (just above the knee). If he does down holding his leg the penalty stands. What will Mbappe and Neymar be doing in the next leg I wonder??
As for trying to get Can "sent off" I don't know what your talking about, I think Rodri tried to get a penalty but never tried to get Can sent off.
And besides, I've seen shite City teams I've seen dirty ones I've never seen play acting shitty ones and I won't start now, let PSG do what they want we shouldn't do it.

As I've said we will agree to disagree. I'm not saying he was right to hold his face what in saying is he should of held his leg where he actually got hit.
Doesn't mean I'm all for the play acting brigade...I've seen what you've seen too by the way.

De Bruyne was really at another level tonight. Well done Mahrez for keeping cool in that situation. As for Foden's shot, man, what an absolute belter! I could give the whole team a mention - Bernardo was everywhere, Gundog pulling strings, Zinch played well after earlier lapses in concentration, Rodri, calm and solid ball retention and distribution.

Hell, they all played great!

Shout out to Zinchenko. Don't think this guy sometimes gets the credit he deserves but he was fantastic tonight and is usually very dependable imo.
Agreed. I found him more reassuring than Cancelo. He was caught out a couple of times in first 10 mins, but once he got up to speed with Dortmund’s energetic press, he was fine. He really has developed into a valued and significant member of the squad/team.

Bernardo was everywhere and run himself into the ground
