End of season parade in Manchester?

A double reverse MARVIE
Well yes but I'd like Bluemoon to co-opt this and make it happen.

Theme: Mark this special season. Remember the year, and hope for the future

Danny and Nat as comperes assisted by Clive Myrie and Mike Wedderburn
Music: Joy Division, New Order, and maybe some Trance thrown in
Film: Highlights of the season. All the goals
Hellos and goodbyes: Vincent David Silva Kun Aguero
Speeches: Khaldoon. Pep. KDB
Messages: Healthworkers from major hospitals. Not management but the doctors, nurses and auxiliaries who looked after us.

I think it’s a wonderful idea. To make it better, we could sing rag songs at them and they could sing city songs at us. Oh how we’d laugh and get on with each other.

Sign me up.

Can you make sure it coincides with when I’m on day release, and not too close to a full moon. Thanks.
You do it when you like but it would be a shame to let this season pass without one moment together.

If we win the trophies and don't have one moment together then it will be:

We are not, we're not really here like the fans of the invisible man.

Nice idea (bar the rags being invited bit) but probably for me timings would be off, a mass parade shouldn't happen till september/october earliest if or when nearly all are vaccinated and covid is really at low levels.

If next season has already started by then, well I wouldn't hold a parade for this one during it.

Nice idea though aMancunian celebration when life returns to near normal, but probably doesn't need to be city focused

I'm struggling with this post. The OP posts some mental suggestion about coming together in a 'we are the world' moment for a Covid superspreader event, when we can't even get into the ground. Takes valid sh1t over it and still comes back with more suggestions instead of admitting they had some sort of brain episode and retreating with tail between legs.

Stick to weather forecasting mate!
The pandemic is officially over. The streets are full. If you don't think its wise OK, you've said it but then how would you want to mark and remember the season?~

Nothing. Don't we normally have an end of season parade with a trophy? Is this going to happen? In this season because of Covid, it may take CIty fans to push for it to happen.

Knowing what we no about the press coming on here you've change the complete thread , wouldn't surprise me if the papers pick this thread up, see we say fuck off to sharing a parade with nhs workers and spin it, you need to delete this thread, you knob

I don't want to piss on your parade, but it's far too early to say this is over.

More difficult times ahead, but hopefully we are on the right track.

due to the op completely changing the context of the thread this looks like a very bad reaction to the important workers that have helped during the pandemic,

Instead of fuck united were not sharing

It now looks like fuck nhs were not sharing

and should be deleted, I also think marvin deserves a ban, this looks bad and knowing the press could be spun in a terrible way, especially at this sensitive time for the club and fans

I think we are all getting Marvined, if not NHS Asylum specialist staff may need to get rounds to Marvin's gaff quickly and help him.

What will the weather be like on the day, Marvin?...
We haven't decided on a day yet. We need to see what happens against PSG first. That will decide the day. Then it's over to metoffice.gov.uk . I could do meteorology. Could you?

If the Rags have a parade for their 4th place cup and Thursday trophy , then we should have one for our third title in four years but if we win the Caraboa Cup & Champs league we will need a bigger bus.

I'm sure if I was inclined to study meteorology I could do it, Marvin, but it doesn't float my boat. Thanks for asking though, appreciate it mate.

I know it's not over but it shouldn't stop us meeting on the streets in the open air. Restrictions on open air activity are to be lifted on 17th May

Well odds on we win a trophy this season.

I am unlikely to be able to see City play this season. 10k in an empty stadium doesn't appeal. 250k on the streets of Manchester does appeal. But I am not sure it happens this season unless we force it.

We have no meeting places. Nowhere where we can discuss it so I suggest here. If someone wants to make a better case for it then go for it. Get something pinned on Bluemoon and get it organised.
