Bay city roller wankers.Just look at the flares on that pitch.
Happy Anniversary.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in full before, but it was really enjoyable.
I clearly remember watching the events in my grandparents' kitchen as they unfolded at the swamp. I don’t know for sure, but I suspect we’d been watching the wrestling on ITV, and the feelings of deep joy as the reporter, Gerald Sinstatdt, I believe, relayed what was happening.
Thanks for posting, Mat.
What a wonderful day that was. You hardly saw a scarf until the goal went in then the whole end erupted. One of the great days of my life.

To be fair Solskjaer's mantel piece must be jam packed of these by now........... :-/They won another trophy this season.
Been a few days so I thought I would just pop in and remind people that I am not overly keen on this variety of football club.................
Too young to attend that day so how many blues were in the ground that day? What a wonderful day that was. You hardly saw a scarf until the goal went in then the whole end erupted. One of the great days of my life.

Were the City fans behind the goal.
Not much of a reaction to the goal.
No segregation in those days.Yes we were behind the goal but well spread out.
The good old days!!No segregation in those days.
Very scary afternoon. Relatively safe in the rag road paddock compared to other areas but dodgy outside before and after. Was worried about two mates in the Stretford end as one spent the bus ride to the swamp telling the rags about all the grounds in the second division. What a wonderful day that was. I was born in 74, seems as good a year as any!
I was at the League Cup when they were in the second division. Sat with my old man in the United Road. I realised what they were like even as a kid.The good old days!!
