By that yardstick we would comment on nothing in the mainstream media apart from occasional pieces from Martin Samuel, and none of us would ever comment on anything on the BBC.

The Guardian’s stance on us is vile, accepted. So is that of every other MSM outlet, bar none,
Many media outlets court Man Utd and Liverpool armchairs because they represent £££ but the Guardian differs by being a campaigning media organisation which supports the ideals of liberal capitalism, hence we offend them doubly because our owner is an Emirati.

A 2 year old could have told them that if Laporte got a yellow for the first incident everything that happened from that moment in time would be different. Simple basic logic. Same illogical thinking peddled in the press.
This is precisely what I said to the missus, who was half listening, and asked "what are they moaning about now" - she's not even a City fan.

This is an amazing article from Evans.

The first line of battle in any appeal to CAS is the composition of the three-judge panel. City nominated Andrew McDougal, QC, a Paris-based partner at White and Case international law firm. McDougal is the former chairman of the company’s operations council for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. White and Case have an office in Abu Dhabi and two of its biggest clients are Etisalat and Etihad. The case revolved around these City sponsors.
Under CAS rules, “arbitrators must be independent, [and have] no particular connection with any of the parties.” McDougal never acted personally for either of the sponsors and his impartiality is beyond question
After reading the article from the former Times Football Editor I reckon there are a few defamatory statements in it as well as the one above. Evans never learns his lesson. He was seemingly sold down the river by his source throughout the UEFA/CAS saga.
This story has almost certainly come from the same source because it includes some of the same phrases and inaccuracies. What it suggests is that our commercial rivals have still not stopped their smear campaign against us. I am sure City know full well who is pushing this information out and so does Ceferin. It would be a great time to ask UEFA how they are getting on with their investigation into the leaking of confidential information during the FFP battle with City.

I think its all been published before, that paragraph i quoted is very familiar, I think its just lifted from an old article.

I enjoyed how he really bigged up how legitimate and independent and upstanding UEFAs investigatory panel and adjudication panel were in the City case when they found us guilty, only to point out their incompetence and corruption in the PSG case a year earlier.

Danny mills on sky sports......KDB has got to win a lot more trophies to be up there with......paul scholes.

Hilarious
What a cretin and proves his ineptitude as a pundit. Scholes great player but not fit to lace Kevs boots. Trophies or not!

Even the use of the phrase "found guilty" is strange for an inquiry by a sports governing body which only considered one side of the story. The funniest phrase was his intro which stated: "UEFA's processes are relatively straightforward." Not even Ceferin would agree with that.
I do think it is interesting though that his subtext was that UEFA "deliberately bungled the case." Even for Evans that's a conspiracy too far surely.

But Aguero has won shed loads and yet the pundits put Shearer above Aguero. I think Shearer won one trophie at Blackburn ! So going by trophies won Shearer is well down the list of greats premier league forwards, ah Mills
