I shall be moving down to the land of the cider drinkers in a month or so and wondered if there are any blues down there.

The job is in Taunton. I have no idea where I am going to be living as of yet (I could do with some advice regarding areas)

Wellington to the west is a bit cheaper for renting and buying (old people's town though) short drive between there and Taunton.

Avoid Bridgwater unless you like long commutes as it takes too long to get to and from in peak traffic times and despite recent investment because of Hinckley it is still a shithole tbh.

There is a pub called The King's Arms near staplegrove that has the games on and I think there are some Blues who still go in there I haven't been in there for years though. Allstars sports bar above the Perkin Warbeck pub will have games on as well (covid permitting).

Mostly full of rags, dippers and arse but no doubt you expected that.

Depends what your tastes and budget are mate, whether you would prefer more of a village or need a central apartment etc.

I fancy more of a village, but it comes down to finances. After living in Newton Heath all my life, everywhere down there is posh in comparison. I fancy Glastonbury tbh, but again it is finances.

I think back then it would have been either Woodpecker or Bulmers and it would have been consumed in Brookdale park. ; )
When I lived there it was purchased on Partington St and consumed there or on Lord Lane field, but never on the cricket square. Not animals after all, even then
