Sorry to hear that pal, hope you are now on the mend?

He seems to think fine, just sick of getting up two or three times in night for a piss!!

Got some blood tests to do and a bowel ultrasound scan, but I didn't want to ignore it even at my younger age.

Doc said one of those things you try to manage or put up with as long as you can, if it doesn't settle down, always medication or later in life surgery if things get worse?

My dad also did a bit at the Express on Ancoats, early days.

People don't realise Thomson House was the biggest machine room in Europe, remember walking round it as a kid with my dad and getting cash off all the print workers.

Unfortunately, my dad caught his hands in the rollers one night and it took his finger off and the presses automatically stopped the entire print run.

They managed to sew it back on but it has never really been much use ever since.

My dad hated Shah, Brenda Dean, never did jack shit for my dad or his like when Maxwell brought in colour or fucked off with £85k of his pension.

Remember him dancing around the table when news came in Maxwell had gone for a long dip off his boat...

I think you are confusing our poorer season with their slight improvement.
They are only within 10 points because we have dipped.
Them finishing on 80 points this season would look shite when we finished 100/99 points etc. So even us finishing on 90 ish points this season makes them a long way behind.

The other thing to be remembered we are not going to sit still. We also will be looking for one or two new signings.
We have a solid team already and a better manager.

Lastly, history has shown every time they look like they are getting it together, they go backwards...

despise them with a passion, but they have improved massively this season. Not as terrible at the back, and seem to have developed that killer instinct in front of goal. When they smell blood, they tend to take advantage of it.

They do ride their luck massively though, the sheer amount of penalties they get is astounding. Nevertheless, their ability to come back from losing positions is pretty impressive, lost count of how many times this season.

It's their games against teams in the bottom half where they generally tend to struggle, thankfully.

Ahh yes, the breakhands as they were called, loads with missing digits. The power waned when we went from NATSOPA to SOGAT, Brenda Dean had her own priorities

Although bound to be an unpopular opinion on here you are correct. United have improved a lot and any objective analysis would agree with you.

Its taken them years but they seem to be on the right track

Both rankings have 4 English teams in the top 7. No wonder other countries want to stop the PL.

The other thing is how well City improve, we’ve played an entire season without a striker. I don’t think it’s by design neither, I’m sure Pep would have wanted to pick a fully fit Sergio all season, we buy a striker and Sterling gets his form back that’s a lot of extra goals weighing in. I think this City team can improve and this is a transitional season of Pep rebuilding, we haven’t done bad 6 points off winning the league, a league cup and reached the semis of the champions league and Fa cup.
 
Listen these lot have massively overachieved are folk forgetting the poor results they have had ......... had Liverpool not been so bad ...... had Chelsea got going early and had Tottenham not had a relic at the helm then they would have been struggling for a top 4 place
This is a team that less than 2 months ago couldn’t get a win at WBA a win at a Chelsea team in free fall and failed to beat Palace .......... let the loons think they are near because judging on what City have done ( considering your start ) they are light years away and should they sign 3 players does that mean everyone else cannot make any signings ?????Chelsea and Liverpool for me will finish above them next season
