Totally agree.

Be interesting to see what criteria the club use for a ballot. Will it just be a blanket one for all SC holders/members or will there be some weighting regarding loyalty points?

The club seemed to be leaning towards S/C holders with no criteria last time it was discussed, one for our City Matters reps?

Provisional decisions had already been made regarding limited capacity for home fans, now they've extended it to away fans too.

If Chelsea or Leicester win the FA Cup and finish top 4 then 6th spot is open for the Thursday Night Cup.
Does the League Cup still earn a place? If so that is 7th

You missunderstood..... Of course one of them will win it - but if they also finish in the top 4 then that frees up another Thursday night spot for 6th place

I bet those 325 would prefer it if they and 175 more blues could see us lift the trophy at home, but fair enough.

I don't think the purpose of these trials is to ensure extra blues get to the match, but to formulate a strategy for getting fans back into matches in larger numbers.

Yes but for only 2000 tickets
Now it’s 10000 I would imagine there would be some criteria and some ballot too

They haven't moved any games yet but if they do it is more likely to be Newcastle moved back a week.

I would prefer they don't move the game and no fans allowed for footballing reasons.

The league cup now earns the UEFA conference thingy, the 3rd tier European cup. So 7th will go to that, which England only has one rep in.

All in or none. That's the fairest and only way in my opinion.

'Ban' away fans if necessary to avoid potential virus transmission, but limiting numbers to anything less than 100% of capacity is nonsensical.

I was going to say, it's as much a test to see how moving parts of the country to another - which for things like summer festivals and events will be needed - as much as it is about football. Testing travel, bottlenecks like train stations etc without putting too much pressure on stuff.

The Telegraph are reporting that the government is being told that social distancing won't be needed for mass events from June 21st after the recent trial events.

I hope that happens but how can they have fully assessed the success of the trial events to make a decision. Have they had the PCR test results of all those that went to Wembley ? Don't think so ! All those who've been at the Snooker. It always looked like a tick box thing as the PCRs were not mandatory.
