TV Series

Just finished 'Invincible'.

I'm not easily shocked and thought I'd seen it all from what this show had to offer, but...

Feck me, this just goes up another level and it took my breathe away!

I mean, wow...!!
Great animated series some seriously fucked up stuff, but it is from the guy who created Walking Dead

10 times better than the Walking Dead because no one is getting in touch with their feelings for 20 mins each episode. Or doing something moronic that endangers everyone else. Or not enacting simple measures that you'd imagine would be common sense in a world of dangerous zombies.

That said, not recognizing a super hero because their face is partially covered seems ludicrous :-)

I think I got through 2 series of 'TWD'? Fooked it off as it was too predictable.

As for 'Invincible', Steven Yeung and JK Simmons' voice acting as father and son are superb. Yeung, especially, as he brings a depth of vulnerability I didn't expect.

I've been watching Mr Mercedes starring Brendan Gleeson.
Season 1 was really good but I've just started season 2 and it's gone all crappy. :(

Just started the second series of ‘Shtisel’ on Netflix. It’s about the orthodox Jewish community in Jerusalem. It’s very good and is full of the distinctive Jewish humour.

I watched all seasons of that. Really enjoyed it. The first season is best though I thought.

It was strange though...I appreciated a lot about a culture that was alien to me but I also felt that it was sad to see people indoctrinated into lives that are so disrespectful to anyone different in any way ("damn evil people").

Finished Night Stalker last night.
Brilliantly produced and absolutely got that balance right.
My issue with many shows is how they dilute themselves over many seasons.
This was four tight shows trimmed of any desire to enter the cult other dissections of this story may have veered into.

But now I’m once again without a show I’m really looking forward too watching each evening....

It’s certainly an eye-opener. It also should be remembered that these people live in our own city yet most people will never interact with them.

I'm watching "The Good Fight" on Peacock - it's free.

I was upset by the departure Julianna Margulies from "The Good Wife" and thus cancellation of that series; consequently, I was luke warm about TGW spinoff - "The Good Fight" - big mistake.

As much as I like "The Good Wife" - "The Good Fight" is just as good, maybe even better.

Binge watch TGW and once it's over, start on TGF - both shows are excellent!

The journalist lady at the end boiled my piss. She was the one who wanted to leak the footprint info at the time! Imagining her horror at being at his hands years after the event but risking perpetuating it for her career at the time. What a ****

Oh absolutely....I bet it did those cops too.

San Fran cop was interesting.
The way he extracted his name from the guy who ho knew him was a bit of a shock given today’s standards (it worked though)
