You see players like Bissouma rated at £40mil and Rice at £75mil, this kid represents the best value for his current ability and ceiling

that 126 mil doesn't consider the Sane and Angelino sale I think. That's 68 mil there. There are also other players with buy clauses + I think UCL money of last season is yet to come so we have every right to expect a striker will come through. I don't know if it will be that big as the ITKs have said though.

True Lavia is a fantastic prospect, but he has only recently turned 17 and has never played competitive football (paint trophy aside)

Yes, he could well be as talented as Camavinga....but he's completely unproven whereas Camavinga has played over 70 professional games in both Ligue 1 and Champiosn league

He's much more a known quantity than Lavia and has the pedigree to back it up

Pretty sure Camavinga picked up his first full international cap this year, great player, if he has a problem it is, he does not command his position, (Bellingham commands his position) if we signed Camavinga i would be very happy as he is exactly what i want, a young player huge potential,with first team experience that does not necessarily take up a first team squad place,
 
Milan look like they might spectacularly drop out of top 4. They're going halves on a stadium with Inter & have posted losses for a while.

Theo Hernandes would be a great proper LB and offer something different to Zinchenko.

That's 2 great back 4 options to rotate and all but Walker are 26 or under.
 
Never seen him play until tonight but Spinazzola who is playing left side of midfield for Roma looks very useful...he is tearing utd a new one down that side at present....

Camavinga was playing first team football at 16; if Lavia was in France he’d likely be getting senior football next season.

Not saying he can step into the first team next year, but if we sign Camavinga he’d have his route blocked in the short, medium and long term, so likely be tempted to go elsewhere to forge a career for himself. I’d rather find decent players to bridge the gap while our own talents mature.

We have to be very careful we don’t recruit obstacles for the likes of Delap, Lavia, Palmer etc, like with did with Sancho in 2017 by signing Bernardo and pursuing Sanchez; Foden finally establishing himself has proven, winning with academy products fundamentally involved is more enjoyable.
 
We need a good striker, even if this is past his prime(like Cavani with the rags). The dream is Haaland, but if his clause for the next year is true ( 180m to 75m is huuge), then I would go for someone like Luis Suarez for 1 season. His killer instinct is still so good, and he wants to prove Barca he can still be a great player.

Playing for city he would be great but Leeds don’t need the money and next season will be looking to strengthen to have a crack at a European finish so they won’t sell .

We already have the best free transfer past his best striker available in the squad. If we don’t fancy keeping Sergio, why on earth woujd we sign Suarez.
Someone our club would go no where near if he was 27 and free..
 
We just need a striker who can get into the 6 yards area and bang in goals. The crosses we make are criminal and whats worse is that there is usually no one at the end of these crosses. We could have score another 2 goals against PSG if we had a striker in place!

I would hope to see the progression of Delap and him playing more games with the first team if we are not going to buy a striker. The False nine has been great for us but the striker can also give us the dimension that we missed this season
 
Patrick Van Aanholt free at end of season seems like a good play in a position and proper left back which gives him advantages over Zinchenko and Mendy though people have to understand he (Zinchenko)is a proper left back now not sure he would be good enough we need a first choice left back not a back up and not sure we can get rid of Mendy but worth a look ?
