Jackson is another Forest fan but has openly admitted on more than one occasion to preferring united over City
Ahh. OK. Never knew that. Always thought he was openly scum.

Funny how a lot of these rag friendly journalists always have another club they quickly state their support for when asked. A little bit like referees :-)

How long did it take piss can to win a European Cup?

And both of those might be considered extremely fortunate.

That 99 final, Bayern annihilated them, only to not finish the game off.
I was winding my mate up today saying if we win it this year and defend it we’re only one behind their measly total. Big if obviously but not beyond the realms of possibility.

Don’t care what they write.

This thread is the same as the Talkshite thread.

Don‘t read papers, don’t listen to talkshite.

Treble is on.

Nick Harris in the DM ‘City still under investigation by the Premier League for financial cheating’ 3 stories down the page with the first Palace match related one about 30 down. Don’t suppose there’s a big chance we could win the league today or something?
He also has us eleven points clear rather than thirteen, so it seems it has been deliberately timed for the day we could win the title.

George Best wore the No 11 many, many times
Yes. I reckon at various times he wore the whole lot 7-11 but l ain't going to go through a load of rag crap just to disprove rag bullshit about the number 7.
I even think he played at number 6 in one game.

Discussion on radio 5 about who is greatest manager, Pep or Ferguson? A caller claimed Ferguson because he reckoned that if the best united side played the best Pep side then united would win. If ?Would? Could ? I thought Pep managed Barca to beat rags in 2009 and 2011 finals and proved he was the greatest. Disappointing that the presenters did not acknowledge this
These presenters and pundits have got a vested interest in not acknowledging the obvious.

One example is the constant over reporting of the cost of our squad.

You would think at some point one of these so called experts would call them out for it and say:

"Yes, Manchester City have assembled an expensive squad of players, but look at the trophy haul they've amassed"

I'm sure if the rags or the dippers were in our situation the broadcasting media would drive the narrative "money well spent".

Watched the first half of the palace game on BT till it started buffering so switched to BEIN for the 2nd and Nicky Summerbee was on. Didn’t blow smoke up our arse just saw the game for what it was. Refreshing to not hear the crap from Ian darke and his acolytes.
It was funny listening to Glen Hoddle. His comments really were moronic and it is clear he is totally inept at tactics. No wonder he was a total failure as a manager. He kept insisting that Palace should hit the ball long and "win the first ball" and then "the second ball." No wonder English international football was a laughing stock for 30 years with people like him as so-called "experts."

The difference is that Micah is a Blue.......that spitty twat definitely isn't Parisian!!
C'est vrai mon ami. He publicly showed his bias against an English club which is wrong in many eyes whereas Micah showed his bias for his own which is understandable. Neither should show bias but l can't help thinking the TV companies are engineering or encouraging it.

And Bergkamp missing a penalty in the last minute of FA Cup semi, until the illegitimate one fluked a cross!(
Fluke? Fluke? Don't you know you know it was the greatest cup goal evah?! The way he strolled through an Arsenal defence that didn't even look at him let one try and stop him was simply brilliant. And Seaman mysteriously dived under his shot to let it in was out of this world especially as goalies didn't get the blame when people scored at the near post. (I don't think l had heard that until Joe Hart came along)
And don't forget the rags fans has managed to half fill Villa Park with the help of the Arsenal fans in a mighty 30000 pulsating crowd.
To me the whole episode would feature prominently in a book of myths.

It's definitely an executive decision to create on screen rivalries, lad's banter, call it what you will. It's a Talkshite/Soccer AM style format that presumably is viewed as 'entertaining' and appealing to a younger audience. There's a time and place for it, personally I've quite enjoyed the MOTD 'Top Ten' programmes and I think, given a wider range of players, not just ex rags and dippers, the Gary Neville Soccerbox would be quite good. The very little bit I've seen of Soccer AM though makes me head straight for the 'Off' button. Match day coverage should not try and follow that format though, it should be impartial, unbiased commentary and, if we must have 'expert pundits' then the overriding pre-requisite should be that they do actually have some expertise.
