We (City) have really got under the rags skin and its fucking great. They can't handle us being better than them. If City were shit, the rags would be top and would have gone 7 points clear with a win today, virtually wrapping up the title. You think they would be protesting under those circumstances? Not a fucking chance. Its down to City this protest, just enjoy their pain and anger, while recognising what's really behind it.

Souness made the same point to NEVILLE and Carraghar a few times today. Fell on deaf ears, needless to say.

Can’t help to feel some respect for these United-fans.

Leaving their armchairs to travel all the way down from London to prevent us winning the league.

Absolutely! They’ve actually condoned it! I can’t believe what I’ve watched today
The Sky coverage has left me speechless. The only person who came out of the coverage with any credit was Souness.

So it seems to me events at Old Trafford have set a dangerous new precedent.

This protest wasn’t against the “Super League” which right now is pretty much dead in the water ( for the time being at least)
No, this protest is against the Glazers ownership of the club which as we all know Utd fans have never approved of.
Recent events have just galvanised the supporters resolve against them.

But IMO it is not acceptable for fans to bring Premier League fixtures to a stand still just because fans don’t approve of their owners. If this precedent is acceptable we will have matches being cancelled every week by Xmas as relegation threatened clubs demand their chairman leaves their club. what is the difference between Utd fans wanting Glazers out to Geordies demanding Ashly leaves Newcastle.

I hope the Premier League penalises this protest or else a dangerous precedent will have been set

I think that the Rag Diaspora couldn't give a flying fuck about anything other than the fact that they are not top dogs. They'll take the mick as they have always done - banners, songs, etc - but that is expected. The angst they have demonstrated is as much down to the fact that they aren't cruising to one trophy after another, the Fergie years are slipping into the mists of time. The fact that we are consistently out-performing them makes it even harder to take. But let no one be in any doubt, were Pol Pot or Colonel Gaddafi to have joint ownership with MUSTY a nominal seat on the board, AND the Rags on top of the pile, their football world would be back in perfect harmony.

simple fact is the majority of that diaspora - all 659m of them - live all around the globe and right now are angry they got up or went to bed at some ungodly hour because they wanted to watch a live match that this bunch of wazzocks got it postponed - they don't give a fuck about the Glazers they already bought the shirts and into the club as it is.

Without going into details, post 9/11 and especially post 7/7 and then at multiple points since then, every 'large scale public event' has had to have serious reviews of its security.

Walk around the etihad hours before a game and other than the corporate/vip entrance, there's no way in. Walk around the London Stadium, same thing.

But apparently the swamp is just wide open to get into.

And somehow, despite hundreds of social media posts tagging them in, all of the related forums etc. talking about this protest, they didn't think to notify the police. Wait, no, they didn't want to pay the extra charge for the police to turn up.

I think someone needs to remind rat face and Keane that this whole thing is about a fucking game. The way they are talking up these protesters like they are akin to women protesting for the right to vote or Tiananmen Square is embarrassing.
Sky will use these ex utd gobshites to witter on about the ESL being the reason behind this. That's because it fits with Sky's narrative on this subject. Purely self preservation.
We know it's about utd fans frustrations with utd losing relevance in the game, and not wanting this game to gift the league title to City.
