That's what would most likely happen to any other club. Unless of course it had happened at Anfield, in which case a similar scenario would apply. In other words, fuck all will happen, apart from the game being replayed. By which time we'll be champions anyway and the nightmare scenario envisaged today will conveniently have disappeared. What a surprise.

The glazers shoupd simply pay up some of the debt while putting the business (it isn't a club and hasn't been for 30 yrs) up for sale.

To help pqy the debt, they should sell their assets, fernandes, pogba, henderson rest of the profitable first teamers etc, sack theanagemt team and employ an afordable.one plus their youth team.


They may end up relegated but at peast some of the debt will be gone like they want, as surely the clubs finances is what they care about no matter which division it is in or if it cannot compete for trophies.

I’d suspect they’d have plenty of buyers. Trophy property and an awful lot of money made in US equity markets. Whether new owners would make the club any better, who knows?

They deserve Donald Trump.

I'm absolutely fucking seething over this, I don't want to see united play another fixture this year. That should be it for them, hit the backwards neanderthals where it hurts, all future fixtures for them including the eufa Cup should be awarded to the opposing teams as wins and they shouldn't be allowed to play in Europe next year. THAT would teach them a lesson, they'd lose their best players and it would financially hurt them too. I work for the emergency services and ANY assault an emergency services worker should be the harshest sentence possible. We're still in a fucking pandemic for God's sake. It's not over its not finished and these knob jockeys are acting like this. Fuck United love the Glazers. I'm absolutely furious but feel the FA will do fuck all as per usual. Had this been us (and we know what bad ownership looks like (Swales) and every team in the land would be looking to punish us) they'd be baying for our blood in regards to titles etc.

I have read the Glazers would want £6bn to sell.

Add to that another £0.5 - £1bn to rebuild the squad - never mind who has that sort of money they are deluded enough to think they can raise just over half of that sum by having a whip around so they are 50+1 fan owned
