Remember the " Swales Out" years? I don't recall City fans invading Maine Road and attacking the Police yet somehow Sly News is trying to present todays "peaceful" events are just how it will end up after 16 years of financial mismanagement and poor decisions......Swales was our chairman for 20 years ffs and not one camera or club shop door was trashed despite our misgivings - and if there are any lurking rags on here just note we were happy when he went but then there was Franny Lee and the 3rd tier of football came......it can get worse you suckers.
Remember very well, and the reason we wanted him out is because we were shit as a general rule. Exactly the same reason why they want the Glazers out, absolutely nothing to do with dead in water ESL.
The misreading of this by the majority of the media is both predictable and astonishing.

You're right. I remember the Swales thing. It was about City becoming shit on the field of play.

I cannot believe how many people on social media think you can't punish United in case it starts some sort of war where thousands of rival fans of club 1 go to the ground of Club 2 disguised as Club 2's fans and break in, start riots etc. in order to sabotage Club 2.

Just think through how stupid a conspiracy that is. The idea that the Police are going to arrest a few dozen Scousers for example and wonder why they're die hard West Ham fans causing trouble before a West Ham game despite none of them living in London and they've all got "6 TIMES" or faded "League Champions 2014" tattoos

If we'd been as shit under Swales as Man U are currently under the Glazers, we'd have built him a bloody statue, complete with comb over!

Got a feeling Peps press conference will be sabotaged by the media asking question about the feral cunts.

Why didn't they play the match, though? They cleared the hotel and the stadium, only to bugger off home.

So the question that needs asking or the questions that need asking after yesterday’s spoilt brat riot.

1. It was all over the media that there was going to be a large protest in contravention of COVID rules, why didn’t the police act to disperse the mob?
2. Why did Man Utd have such lax security knowing this protest was going to take place?
3. Gary Trump had been inciting a riot so why didn’t Sly speak to the club or the FA about the safety of their staff?
4. This was a game between the self styled big two of English football, surely the police, stewards and club were aware of this and even without a protest should have been on high alert?
5. What did the Premier League do in advance knowing a large protest that had the potential to turn violent was being planned?
6. Why did the Glazers let this happen?

it all stinks, this was a set up, the scheming yanks are up to something and using the Stretford mob to do their bidding.
6. They don’t care

Players too distressed by the events ?

Their deep seated emotional connection to the club and the suopporters draining them ( Ashton's interpretaion ? )

I suppose another random example would be - I don’t know ? Let’s say Chelsea’s firm going up to dipper pool and attacking our coach ?

They damaged broadcasting equipment so I imagine the game wouldn’t have been able to be put out on tv. No way would the rags and dippers forfeited tv money for a complete block out of the game whilst it was played.

I heard some nonsense on Sky this morning that they were worried about City fans coming out to celebrate winning the league!!!!!!
