Just seen episode 3. Bleak but very goodJust watched the first 2 episodes of Mare of Eastown. First episode just introduces the characters and in episode 2 it starts to get going. Looks promising. 7 episodes in total.

You needed to stick with it.Watched the first episode dialogue was barely audible didn't have a clue what was going on. Same for ep2. Guy with the hat appeared to be a cliched caricature. Binned it.
Finished Night Stalker last night.
Brilliantly produced and absolutely got that balance right.
My issue with many shows is how they dilute themselves over many seasons.
This was four tight shows trimmed of any desire to enter the cult other dissections of this story may have veered into.
But now I’m once again without a show I’m really looking forward too watching each evening....

The further through season 1 the more it starts to click and then s2 onwards is brilliant.
Yeah, I’m half way through season 2 but I’ve stalled on it, haven’t watched an episode in about a month and not got the will at the moment to fire back into it.It's very marmite on this forum.
Where/what did you watch it on fella, because it certainly wasn't like that for me?2 hours of not hearing most of the dialogue was enough. It's a problem when the background noise is too loud because you can't even turn the volume up. I refuse to put subtitles on because people can't get the basics right.
