That's true and I believe the tide is turning for City with media coverage. Apart from a small group of bitter individuals in the media (some racist, others with genuine mental problems), City are getting overwhelming deserved praise today. I also think that now the dust has settled the United thugs' rampage at Old Trafford is being seen in a less rosy light than Gary Neville painted.
This has been a fantastic 10 days for City with one trophy won, another almost bagged, and a CL Final achieved. The response of our most bitter rivals has been to smash up their own stadium. You can't buy publicity like that.

To be fair to them as a group of fans we boo the CL anthem and maybe don't hold the competition in as much awe as other teams. I'd actually suggest that Dippers hold it in higher regard than the league title.

I think we do have respect fo the CL as much as every other competion we enter and try to win. Although we don't make it the Holy Grail. I get the same feeling when we win the League cup as when we win the FA Cup or League It's not the actual cup it's the people that run the competition that we can't be doing with.
