Thinking about the rags' demo on Sunday, you ask yourself what it was actually about.

The media are making out it was about 'the soul of football' in the context of the ESL but, while that may have played a small part, I doubt it was the core factor. There was a lot of talk about '16 years of simmering resentment about their owners' and I'm sure that was the most significant factor. So it really wasn't them standing up for the average football fan, as idiots like Neville were trying to claim.

When you talk to some of them, they go on about the debt and the claimed £1bn that the Glazers have taken out of the club in debt servicing, other finance costs and their own dividends, fees and other things. So I ask the question that, if they'd cleared the debt or solely put their own money in so there was no debt, and they weren't taking a penny out, yet they were still where they are now and have been since Ferguson retired, with 4 managers and no PL or CL or even getting close to one, would they have been as angry?

None can give me an answer and I suspect the answer is that they'd have been just as upset over the relative lack of success, the scattergun approach to recruitment and the state of the stadium. Maybe less angry but still pissed off, particularly with us overtaking them.

So while the ESL might have been a catalyst it's essentially about their owners and their incompetence. That's not a fundamental problem for football; there's always been poor owners who don't run their clubs properly. We certainly know that!

It's therefore nothing to do with 'the soul of football' or leading a unified fan movement. It's about their shit owners and that's their problem and theirs only..
I've seen posts by United fans on Twitter, who say that if the Glazers hadn't taken this supposed £billion out of the club, they could have spent that on players... there in a nutshell is what this 'protest' is all about... it's about them wanting more money spent on more players so they can be top-dogs again... it's absolutely nothing to do with the good of football - even the stadium repairs are a second thought for 99% of United fans who, let's face it, have never even set foot inside the Swamp!

They're crying because of too much money in the game. So the solution is to take money out yeah?
That's what the glazers are doing and they're still not fuckin happy

They are fucking idiots mate. What is the problem though how much did they spend on Maguire, Lukapoo, pogba sanchez???

How can they cry about money, imagine how much wages just on them. They would be fucking buzzing if they had our team and manager.

The most important bit. Bold and underlined.

For 16 years @ManUt fans have protested against the Glazers. We won't be ignored, we won't go away. This is just the beginning, this is just the start. Green and Gold until we're sold. We'll decide when you will play.

The imbeciles are looking in the wrong direction , the fault lies with the useless fuckers they employ at the club who cannot manage the resources which they have at their disposal .

With all the income at their disposal and they continue to fuck it up.

It's right there in front of the fuckwits and they continue to suck up all the hype and bullshit. YCNMIU

The other thing that occurs to me about Sly News is they can chase a Glazer in the USA but don't devote the same efforts to Mike Ashley who has done much same and Newcastle nor did they put any effort into Karl Oyston who for a time was ignoring a High Court Order to sell Blackpool FC !!!

They are pulling out all the stops to save the rat and spitty

Ergh how can it be the beginning if it has been going on for 16 years. Do they not think before they open their gobs? Nah don't answer that , they are so my to stupid to understand their own words.

All I’ve heard from Rags at work so far is either a. Not bothered or even more laughable b. I’m pleased for you

They are hurting. Hopefully we can win it now and really see them squirm
Yep - let's hope we can get the job done. If we can, we could end up playing them in the Super Cup in Belfast in August. It'll be the cherry on top if we smash them in that one, especially as it'll be like a home game for most of the fuckers!

Ssn hounding one of the glazers, he kept a dignified silence, what a man that glazer is ,bravo, keep up the good work
I think the good old Glazers have as much contempt for rag supporters as the rest of the population of the universe.

Lol "Mr Manchester" the stinky old tramp; Freedom of the City of Manchester, Knight of the Realm etc. Sneaking into a hotel to give a pep talk to a French side playing a Manchester team. What a scummy, lost, lowlife he is.
Or maybe he just got caught short ;-)
Are you implying baconface may have actually shit himself whilst shitting himself?

Yep, the average age of the pitch invaders & the length of time they have been ignored, it isn’t the start (it’s 16 years in the making) and they’re playing Thursday night, don’t fancy many of em popping over there, so they’ll play when they want, if they disrupt any more games then they should be forced to play the rest of the season away from home

Obviously not difficult, as he realises that they are totally dilluded fuckwits living off their past glories , sulking like spoiled brats and failing to understand why they are currently displaying a neanderthal kick and rush brand of football.

Rearrange the game to Broadhurst Park?
