Be good to lay down a marker, but obviously CL game is more important. Can see a number of changes with Cancelo, Rodri, Laporte, Mendy, Sterling and Aguero starting.
That been said over the last 2 games Sterling and Aguero, even Mendy are looking a bit sharper than the last time we met.

Think it will be an Aguero Master class,. Looked really fresh Aguero, the type of Aguero that has got 3-4 games under his belt.

If Aguero shows he’s sharp at the weekend and gets a goal or two, he may have a chance of starting the final or at least play a good part of it.

I think we’ll have a mix. I imagine sterling, aguero, jesus, laporte and cancelo at the least will come in.

Actually a really good chance for some of the rotational attacking players to show in a stronger City side they've got the better of the Chelsea defence.

Now it's confirmed it's Chelsea I'm completely convinced Pep will go full rotation and an entirely different approach to the game. He will be willing to sacrifice this rather meaningless game if it means he keeps the tactical advantage ahead of the final. Show no hands and keep them guessing. If we lose. Its not a reflection on our likely final lineup and if we win, we've beaten them with a weakened squad.

Ederson
Cancelo
Ake
Laporte
Mendy
Rodri
Bernardo/gundogan
Sterling
Torres
Jesus
Aguero

I think he will go for a bit stronger team than this as the title can be won. The fringe players still have time to play themselves into form though so they’ll be eager to impress.

So many narratives will be written on the result of this game lmao

Hope not. But.

Pep did say he felt sorry for the players who didn't play on Tuesday.

So I expect them to start against Chelsea.

Chlesea will also rotate.

Like us they have a strong bench.

However, I would like to win the title on Staurday, and not drag it out to Newcaslte, who are still fighing against the threat of relegation.

Theyll obviously be chaneges and fresh legs, as you rightly say, they have a very strong bench but not sure Chelsea will rotate anywhere near as heavily, they need to secure 4th which is far from done.

Newcastle have a 9 point gap with 4 games left, theres more chance of united winning the title than Newcastle going down.
I don’t understand why anybody thinks either team won’t go full strength

we’re going for a title and they’re going for top 4 and the sooner both teams achieve their goal the sooner they can properly rest players
Because the title is inevitable, it doesn't matter when it's confirmed and even if it's confirmed this weekend Pep isn't going to rest the main guys for 3 weeks, they'll all play at least once a week just to keep themselves ticking over. Rotation has more benefits than simply playing a psg lineup and getting over the line on Saturday.

Big game this one. Hoping we wrap the title up this weekend, but with the CL final just around the corner you'd think both teams will rotate a bit, not that it will achieve much we both know a heap about each other.

Hoping for Sergio to start and score the winner to seal another title. Be nice if it's the start of a few game winners for him on his way out.

I was also thinking the same but losing to them twice before a CL final may be bad for our mentality (even if it was our B-squad both matches). I can positives for going full strength or weak strength squad on saturday.

I think we should go full strength. Pep needs to see how Chelsea deal with our best team so he can see what’s effective and can also make any tweaks necessary for the final if we struggle in certain areas. If we don’t play something like our first eleven then to an extent we’re going into the final blind

Damn right! "What is best in Football?"....... "To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."

This has got really boring written all over it. Hopefully if there's a goal we're the ones who score it.

If any of Sterling, Torres, Jesus, or Aguero play, it'd be a bonus if they could get that one goal too.

We have a full week before our next game after Chelsea. I think Pep will go out to win this and get the league done. It won't be easy against a very well organised, energised team. Our best team, I think.

I think it will be closer to full strength than full rotation, but I expect a few backups to play. Laporte will, maybe Cancelo and Sterling too, and at a stretch Jesus.
