Sané leaving seriously hurt me. To be honest, when he signed there were rumours he was here to learn his trade, get further experience before returning to Germany with Bayern, & so it's happened.

How/why's he struggling? Is it just first season syndrome, or something deeper?
Plenty of factors, non insurmountable other than KDB not playing for BM, but at a guess playing majority on the right side, rumblings around the manager, Bayern not being as good as the previous year, competition for places (we know he doesn’t enjoy that) big year for him, will Nagglesman adopt a similar set up as at
RBL, maybe Leroy could go more central

Wish him all the best.

Wonder if our final vs Chelsea will be tagged as the “money/oil final” or some similarly stupid name, or if those sentiments are only reserved for when we play PSG?

Chelsea seem to be immune to that sort of characterisation
Don't think the media have any love for Chelsea as they have broken the cosy London duopoly of Spuds and the Arse, as we broke the dominance of Rags and Dippers up here. Can remember all to well the media fawning over Spuds in the eighties on the back of a couple of cup wins, and the Arse in nineties and noughties when they were the only real opposition to the Rags. Chelsea like us and Leeds long ago have never had a favourable media , but hay who needs it.

He has lost a yard of pace after that ACL injury. He honestly looks quite a bit slower in the games I have watched on TV. I actually feel sorry for him. It just shows you how short a player's career can be with a bit of bad luck. He is not the same player we had in 2018 in my view.

I get sent a daily e-mail from the Guardian, which has 3 sports articles.
This morning it did not have a report on last night's Chelsea v Real Madrid match.
As it had a good report on the City match the day before, you would think Chelsea are not in the "Fab 4" of The 3 Red Tops and Spurs.

Spot on and what I've said all along in the rag thread. He's inflamed the situation no end. He's supposed to be a football pundit not the mouthpiece for the rag fans. All the talk of them and Liverpool the grandfather's of football, get to fuck you weasel!
Gary Neville these clubs could be considered the Grandfathers of league football in England

Accrington,
Aston Villa,
Blackburn Rovers,
Bolton Wanderers,
Burnley,
Derby County,
Everton,
Notts County,
Preston North End,
Stoke (now Stoke City),
West Bromwich Albion
Wolverhampton Wanderers

Not Trafford Rovers or Dipperpool, now get back to gnawing on a piece of cable you rodent.

For twats that talk about history they sure know fck all.

They may have been, but I didn't once hear the commentators ask how Real could beat Chelsea.
Another way of looking at it would be a compliment to ourselves.

'How can PSG, even with the likes of Neymar & Mbappe the two most expensive signings in history, possibly beat this outstanding City team?'

Guess I'm a glass half full type of person ;)

And no mention of the fact PSG's team (at least in the first leg) cost £130m more than ours!

Dark Forces about to be exposed?

Not by our spineless journalists.

  • Prosecution of MCFC and manipulation of FFP

  • ESL. For years in the planning.

  • Blocking the emergence of potential powerful rival clubs

I think the rest of football now knows what we said but football fans care only about their own club. No one wants their own club to fall behind Newcastle Utd who are the one club you think you might finish ahead of at the end of the season.

Thats cos ian darke refused the commentary gig when he saw how much psg had spent, threw a sickie, but dont worry, he will be back.

Hopefully he will get the nohoper league final and he can eulogise about how much value(not cost like us) the rags have in their squad compared to villareal.

Congrats on a perfectly executed use of the term Weasel........
