Good auld Pep
I was just thinking exactly the same. Sergio played a bit deeper, in a Lampard like position, last time out and he was great.---------------Ederson
Dias---Laporte---Aké---Mendy
----------Cancelo---Rodri
-----------------Aguero
Torres-------Jesus-------Sterling
Not fit is what they're saying.
Thank you, hopefully he is recovering soon.Had ice pack on hammy after PSG
Dias at right back?I was just thinking exactly the same. Sergio played a bit deeper, in a Lampard like position, last time out and he was great.
I have the same question... hope he is not injuredWhat's up with Kevin, nowhere to be seen
No. No matter what happens today, both managers are smart enough to know it has no bearing on Istanbul.I am ready to be shouted down, but do you possibly think Pep is happy to throw this one, lulling Chelski into a false sense of security, before playing a completely different and stronger team on the 29th?
he looked knocked out and also had an ice pack on his hammy at the end .I have the same question... hope he is not injured
I shouldn’t laugh but that is funny. He just tripped over the arm band apparently.
Cancelo moves back there when we're out of possession.Dias at right back?
One theory. We could play a strong team and not win. Or get injured. There are multiple possibilities. Including winning with this strange team.So disappointed with that team selection. Play a strong team and win, and then Chelsea are under pressure to qualify for the champs league, and players will be fatigued.
No way do we lose 3 against them in 6-8 weeks in my opinion.Don't fully agree
A defeat tonight and we've lost 2 on the spin vs Chelsea
Hes being too smart too be honest and it will probably cost us
Let's hope we beat Newcastle next week
So effectively lying his arse off? Gotcha (:I think he is saying to these players ‘you want to play in big games? Here is one. Go and win the Premier League for us. Play well and you are in contention for the next big game.’
@BillyShears made an excellent point recently too. Look at the togetherness and camaraderie amongst the squad right now. Keeping all the players involved in big games through the use of rotation contributes to that.I think he is saying to these players ‘you want to play in big games? Here is one. Go and win the Premier League for us. Play well and you are in contention for the next big game.’
