Manchester City are Champions of England for the 7th time!

I've not been fussed about the football since last March if honest, been a farce without fans, though I know many on here have taken great comfort from the distress of the Rags and coach wreckers.

But the League is something to celebrate, which I've done in the sun and the hail this afternoon in the pubs in the greatest city on earth.

Bit worse for wear if honest.

In one episode, he’s trying to explain to his imbecile colleague, Father Dougal, about scale.

He’s holding a small, plastic model cow, and says, "This cow is very small, but those cows (real ones) are far away".

Yep - they’d take all five of our titles, and give them to the the team that finished second each season.

So that’s three more titles for United, and another two for Liverpool.

They’d also give our 1937 title to Charlton, and our 1968 one to the Rags too - just for good measure.

Then they’d relegate us once for every title we’ve won, and stick us back in the Northern Premier Division 1

Then they’d transfer each of our players for free across the other teams in the premier league, with the first pick going to the team with the reddest kit, and working back from there.

Then they’d hit us with a transfer ban, so we’d have to put out a team from the kit men.

And then you woke up - and realised it was all a dazzling, wondrous dream.

And City are still Champions. And our 5 titles out of the last 10 are here to stay. And we still have the most talented squad in England, managed by the finest Manager of his generation. With the best owners English football has ever seen. And it’s still been 8 years since United last won the League. And you’ve still got Solskjaer as Manager. Whose most notable Managerial achievement is still taking Cardiff down, then getting the sack. And the Glazers are still your owners. Sorry mate - I wish I could sugar coat it for you. Actually - fuck it - the truth is too much fun to change so much as a single detail!

He is, very much so. What is interesting is that a Blue would give this type of interview at such a time. Was he picked from a cast of thousands or targeted for certain elements that relate to his own life?

Did he not know that it was meant to sooth the Dippers, especially now that they’re realising how their own ownership model works?
