Hard to see how United are going to fulfil a home fixture again this season, you'd think if this gets the same media support as the last one, the Fulham game is going to be off.

I don't hold out much hope of the FA investigating to a satisfactory conclusion though, but I have no doubt that if it had been City strong and swift punishment would have been metered out already.

Why haven't the points just been awarded to liverpool?

That would be unfair on Leicester, Chelsea, and West Ham. The game should be played behind closed doors at one of the training grounds and United should have points deducted. If Liverpool beat Leicester or Chelsea to the top four those clubs would sue the PL for £100m loss of revenue.

So Liverpool are gifted the 3 points, dealing a serious blow to West Ham and Leicester’s hopes of top 4, bloody wonderful. Sky would give that a big high 5 I am sure.

If the game is forfeited and it affects other teams' top 4 chances, I genuinely think united should be deducted enough points to drop them to fifth. Thin end of the wedge this, they need to do something fairly draconian to nip this kind of thing in the bud.
