United fans need to be careful about wanting the Glazers out.

A billion pounds of investment in 8 years is some commitment , would different owners do likewise with the cost of buying the club on top?

The biggest mistake the Glazers have made was employing Ed as CEO.

It really makes you appreciate our execs even more, high quality operators at the top of their game, investing the owners money wisely and sensibly, and the results and titles say everything.

I doubt that the Glazers regret employing Woodward as he did their bidding and increased their commercial income regularly.

He was no doubt instructed to employ OGS in order to maintain the myth of " doing it the U***** way" that their fuckwit supporters seem to think will provide the solutions to all their limitations .

He made money available to respective managers which didn't solve the problems but that is the fault of whoever was responsible for identifying players.

I would say that within his likely remit given by the owners , he has achieved what was expected.

That presenter was trying hard to paint a rosy picture but Keane and Souness weren't having it.

It really hits home when you regularly hear Keane banging on about how far behind Utd are to us, and then think back to how indignant the rags were when Moyes said that they aspired to be us, the power shift these last eight or nine years is astonishing.

I can't help but laugh when the Rag fans go on about us "winning the lottery" and just being lucky that we were the club taken over.

Of course we were lucky and yes it was like winning the lottery but we aren't on our own, the rags themselves have experienced something similar. The introduction of Sky TV, They just happened to be near the top of the tree at the time of them coming in and changing the finances of English football on a scale never seen before. They invested a shitload of money at the time to get to the top of that tree and then the exposure and revenue driven by SKY TV ensured they were going to be there for a very long time.

If it was Liverpool in their place at the time then they could well have been on top for that long period.

Don't forget in them early days they were competing against the likes of Villa for the league.

Money changed everything and it suited them more than anyone else.

So yes we happened to be in the right place at the right time exactly like they found themselves in the right place at the right time all them years ago.

Self entitled cunts.
