LOL win the title next season!!!!! They will do well to win it in the next decade.

They are broken, badly broken, it is going to take a lot more money and hard work to fix, and they need a high class manager to put it all together, thankfully they have Little Olie and with a new contract on the table and his pen poised, things could get a lot worse before they ever get better.

Looking at Cavani's face as he walked off the pitch last night, he is already regretting signing that extension, regardless of getting 200k a week.
I think United must have regretted it as well. Cavani (who used to be fantastic at Napoli) is well over the hill. They are spending a lot of money for someone to play cameos off the bench against the weaker teams.

I can't help but laugh when the Rag fans go on about us "winning the lottery" and just being lucky that we were the club taken over.

Of course we were lucky and yes it was like winning the lottery but we aren't on our own, the rags themselves have experienced something similar. The introduction of Sky TV, They just happened to be near the top of the tree at the time of them coming in and changing the finances of English football on a scale never seen before. They invested a shitload of money at the time to get to the top of that tree and then the exposure and revenue driven by SKY TV ensured they were going to be there for a very long time.

If it was Liverpool in their place at the time then they could well have been on top for that long period.

Don't forget in them early days they were competing against the likes of Villa for the league.

Money changed everything and it suited them more than anyone else.

So yes we happened to be in the right place at the right time exactly like they found themselves in the right place at the right time all them years ago.

Self entitled cunts.
These fuckers moved from Manchester to Trafford because of money

He has been a quality signing but a top club would have said thank you and goodbye.

Not offer another big deal for a player who will decline and spend a lot of time on the bench or playing meaningless European games on a Thursday night.

9 in 25 in the league. Gabriel Jesus has managed 8 in 26. The difference is that we see those numbers and say we'd better bring in another striker. They see those numbers and say yes please, we'd better sign him up for another year. Kinda reminds me of when Ibrahimovic was there (only not as good). An old player comes in a does a half-decent job along with some moments that remind everyone that they were world class back in the day, and they use it as an excuse to not find a long-term solution. Long may it continue. Ronaldo 2022?

I can only think of Martial who they bought for long term and even that deal had more clauses than a North Korean passport.

Having slept on it, I'm still not sure how that dirty coward McTominay wasn't sent off! Don't get me wrong - I know why, but the pure 'I couldn't give a shit who seems this attitude. If you get to watch it again, just watch Taylor and not the foul. You can actually see his thought process. He looks and think, 'yeah foul but no way he's going off on my watch. In-cred-i-ble.
Yes never forget Taylor when “Sideshow Bob” of Chelsea hauled back Aguero a few seasons back at the Etihad. His hand started to reach for the card then he thought “bugger he was the last man I will have to send him off”, hand swiftly removed from pocket and sod all punishment handed out. The man is a cheat, pure and simple.

there was no luck in it at all ? the owners knew a great deal when they bought manchester city the package
a ready made club with a great history. a great fan base. new stadium. it was ready to take off and its what the premier league needed because it was becoming stale

united had there "winning the lottery" with sky and liverpool also "winning the lottery" under littlewoods
but the truth is for united and it hurts them to have to admit it. but munich made them a world wide club and they milk it every year and dare anybody question it, yes it was sad and painful losing players and staff but other clubs have had disasters but never get the media atention like united every season

the biggest club in the world since 1992 and they like nothing more than milking the past and the funnyest thing is thats all they have now history

One of the most infuriating moments of watching football I have ever witnessed. I was going ballistic.

No one ever mentions the price Sheik Mansour paid, he bought the worst house on the best street for a knockdown price.

they are on for another treble the derby cup. 2nd place trophy. the micky mouse euro disney trophy
a open top bus bus is being plastic wrapped as we speak
Don't forget the bestest pitch ever in the history of football, there must be a cup for that
