I don't think he's the best option. I'd take Mbappe and Haaland before him given the choice but if they aren't achievable then I'd have no qualms at all with signing Kane.

Neither Mbappe nor Haaland have played in tough enough leagues or have the experience of a proven striker like Kane.

Also, I can't take anyone serious who says Kane doesn't suit us but Haaland does. I would argue it's the complete opposite.

Kane has asked to leave so he’s been tapped up, just can’t see City as a club tapping him up before a Champions League final, and as others have said this isn’t our modus operandi

Fair enough i didn’t see pep sticking around this long myself so who knows how long he could stay :) , I’m fifty fifty on whether it happens , I think pep is a big fan of Kane , but his age , injury record , dealing with levy , crazy price .
Few things working against it , saying that though he’s one of the best strikers in the world and would slot in to our system seamlessly I reckon .
Foden on the left mahrez on the right and Kane up top would work a treat .
I’d probably prefer Haaland like most posters but if we sign Kane there will be no qualms from me .

That's a good point, and one I hadn't thought of. Kane, if he comes, sees out his career here or maybe a romantic move back to Spurs when he's on his way out of the game. I think Haaland will be one who moves around the top clubs every 3 years or so. Can't see him doing an Aguero, for example, if he did come here. A tour of the leagues and top clubs is what I think he will do.
