One game of importance left, but watching that shite from the ref and particularly VAR, all I could think of was I can’t wait until the season’s over. I’m sick of that kind of crap.
Why as well. What was to be gained by screwups over tonight?

Fucks up preparations I suppose, but I’m sick of it. Summer can’t come quick enough.

Just one great performance left lads. That’s all I want.

This. Given that Kane was offside recently and VAR proved it but allowed it and TV didn't show it....I don't know what to believe anymore. I don't tend to go for Refs being biased but there was clearly an agenda tonight being served.

I really hope Gundogan is ok that's the most important thing about tonight.

But the two things are linked. We've seen it before. Referee allows our opponents to get away with fouls that we get punished for, and before long, they've injured one of our players.

The bias from the commentary was ridiculous. You can have an opinion either way about the potential Jesus penalty, but they literally didn't even mention the possibility that it could be a penalty until it was confirmed that VAR were checking it. I honestly thought when they stopped the game that they were going to try and claim a penalty in our box for Dias(?) being dragged back.

Shit game, ruined by the sending off. Awful referee.

Foden and Dias the only real 2 to impress. Mahrez pissed me off though. Did nothing to help the woeful Garcia out. Not sure why we decided to start playing long balls instead of passing.

Result not really important but more than a few of ours looked well below their usual standards 2nd half. Hopefully just saving themselves for the CL final. That game didn't really do anything to help our preparation and to get players sharp.

Most important thing is Gundogan and hopefully it was just a knock.

Glad that is fucking over, never enjoyed a game less than that. Am sure the players and fans will remember this next season when we get these small time twats. Ref is a perfect example of how bad the standard is in the prem, have a league with world class players and managers and stick useless incompetent idiots like that in the middle, utter disgrace.

The momentum shifted massively towards them after their first goal following which they played like it was their Cup final and we played like it was ours in 10 days' time.

None Were Emerson’s fault tonight the defence had a brain fart. Cancello not a very good defender hence his sending off which shouldn’t have been As he was fouled. Atwell the ref had another shocker. Just hope the defence don’t play as badly as that in our final.

Far from ideal preparation for the final.

Going down to 10 men after 10 minutes for fuck all probably wasn't part of the plan.

The performance was a mixture of "dont get injured", "this is a huge inconvenience" and general can't be arsedness.

There was one 5 minute period where we only had 4% possession. This has probably never happened before. Ever.

The ref being bent as fuck didnt help either. That 100% penalty at the end that wasn't given was rum as fuck.

Disagree. Perfect preparation for the final as it will be almost identical. I say almost because Lahoz can definitely take it further than Attwell did today.

Firstly, it doesn’t matter. In fact it’s probably done is good as it will have fired pep and the team up. We’re good when we’re pissed off. Secondly, how great is it to know we’ve pissed the league despite it being bent to fuck!

It's not necessarily a bad thing in the Chamls League build up to go through a battle of a game and like you say give us a bit of fire in the bellies.

Doesn't make it any less frustrating when you see such bad officiating though.
