Are people just doing the at home unsupervised day 2 tests ? I’m minded to buy the ones around £50 as it’s literally just a tick box for me so that I can get the reference code for when I need to prove I’ve ordered it

Does it have to be PCR test for the day 2 test? Ticket & Travel information email just makes mention of CV19 test needing to take place. What stops you getting NHS lateral flow test to meet this requirement ?

as far as i'm aware it needs to be a specific day 2 pcr test that is linked you your flight number

Get it done mate, I paid £115 for mine as I’m stupid, shoot first and check the cheaper options later :-)

It does mate, purchasing the product gets you the unique number which cross references the info you put in to get the test and the info on your passenger locator form

Just coming to order the Eurofins test for the day 2 test. I notice they have a test to depart (PCR) for £44.90 and a day 2 test (PCR) for £54.90. What’s the difference apart from a tenner?

A guess, but I think they can detect variants on the day 2 (genome sequenced or something?)

My brother is in the same situation as you @Bluemoon1979

He's waiting on his new passport to arrive (should be any day now). I think we're just going to book it using his old passport and will ring the club to update the details when the new one arrives.

When can you book your tickets? I can book mine at 9am tomorrow if you can book yours before mine let me know if everything goes through ok.

The government does not recommend any particular test provider. You can also choose a provider not listed on this page. Do your own research (for example, read reviews) about available providers, the tests they supply and their terms and conditions.

Sorry guys I am not of this computer age. Where on the website do you go to actually book the ticket? Is it the tickets option? If so mine is saying restricted sale but with no option to click on it?
