Wolves thread 2020/21

Seems like a good move IMO, it looked like things were getting a little stale and he can go now as a club legend for overseeing this return to the top flight and getting into Europe without a sour end.

Only problem is who they replace him with. You'd think a lot of managers would be up for it because they've got great players and a lot of backing from Fosun. I hope it's someone a little more attack-oriented because they were quite dull to watch under Nuno and they've got some amazing forwards in Podence, Traore, Neto and even Fabio Silva looks like he could turn into something.

I think they could be in trouble next season. They have loads of Portuguese players who probably only went there because nuno was there. Will they have the determination to play for a new manager

They went there because of Jorge Mendes - including Nuno.

Mendes isn't going anywhere, nor will the Portuguese contingent. Plus there's a lot of Portuguese managers in the world.

Sad to hear he is leaving as I have always had a bit of a soft spot for Wolves - they have certainly wandered up and down the leagues since I have been watching football.
On a totally mercenary, opportunistic note are there any decent players who might be unsettled by this who might be worth pursuing? - have they got a decent left back? ;)

Completely gutted by the news, Nuno is the greatest we have known. I was sad when Big Mick went but it was past his time. This is different, too soon for Nuno.

I will be at Molineux on Sunday, I never thought it would be to say goodbye to the legend.

We already had a big summer of rebuilding to come, now it starts with a new head coach and backroom staff

Goodbye and farewell Nuno and OBRIGADO

Used to like him until he changed all 11 players for a game at the swamp, a game at the time which was important to both clubs. Grudges, me? Hell yes
Fair enough. I will edit the post: Mick did a shit job and is not a patch on Nuno. What kind of wanker makes 11 changes against the rags;)
